And it truly is a beautiful morning.  I have been out early this morning, a quick trip to Kroger for a few things I needed.  It is 46 degrees and the sun was warm on my face again.  I do believe that spring is making an appearance.  Well, I know for a fact it is because I saw some nice green weeds shooting up by the house foundation this morning.  I keep those pulled because they would soon be gigantic if I didn’t.  Maintenance has the yard treated and mowed and that is the extent of that.

I noticed that there are Easter eggs scattered all through the front yard.  My neighbor has a young boy and I think I will be in for a treat this afternoon, watching the gathering of the eggs.  This surely brings back memories.  We always fixed a nice Easter basket filled with treats for our kids.  

“Time is a river that flows ‘round the bend, never to return to the places it’s been.”  And no matter how much we might wish it, we can never go back in time.

    Yes, I think Spring is finally fighting its way back. Though I hear the birds and my crocus has popped up, it was the kids outside playing ball that convinced me. No coats.

    This is the first year in a long, long time I have not had an Easter egg hunt. I even like to do it for the adults but it will be quiet for me. I hope you enjoy watching the child. There is nothing like the joy in their faces and squels of delight.

    It's warm though windy here. we fixed up our eggs for tomorrow already and are looking forward to that thought the weather doesn't look to be very nice in the forecast. We have company for our Easter dinner and will watch a movie for too then catch the season finale of The Walking Dead tomorrow. Blessings to you my friend.

    Beautiful picture of a tulip poplar there in your header and a beautiful blog from you too, Twin. I also get energized, happy and motivated when the temp is above 40...the sun warms my face and puts a glow in my heart and more bounce to my steps.

    "Oklahoma" is one of my favorite musicals! Love the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein! "The Sound of Music" is my all-time favorite musical, though!
