at the size of those pancakes.
and this 1/2 serving of the breakfast skillet…
and a real cup off coffee (decaf) with Irish creamer…
My daughter and I stopped by Wild Berries to eat after my doctor appointment yesterday. They are known for their gigantic proportions. I had coffee which I lightened with Irish creamer. I don’t drink coffee as it is a no no for me per my doctors. In fact I rarely drink anything with caffeine in it. I enjoyed the coffee more than the food.
It is a dreary day at 60 degrees right now. We have more rain on the way and a cold front to go through tomorrow evening.
Have a great day. Stay safe and be happy!!
Beth
WOW what a breakfast.. that's my whole day calorie count right there..amazing..nice that you had okay weather yesterday to go out in.. so windy it was here...today..yeccchh fog and cold.. my head is having a hard time catching up. True..once we give up something we really love..going back to it is a real treat. I drink NO caffeine also and haven't for years. Take care of yourself XOXO
ReplyDeleteI can see where a diet would be in trouble there. Hope all went well at the doctors. Raining here and there is a small lake in the side yard.
ReplyDeleteHoly smokes those are huge, love it! A bang for your buck :).
ReplyDeleteOh man I think I would die with out coffee. With this diet that is my only treat each day. NOW it has to be black but heck I'll take what I can get :)
Glad you were able to get out and enjoy the day with good food, good drink and good company! Can't remember when I last had a plate of pancakes like that!!! Just looking at it, I think I maybe gained a few pounds...ENJOY---Life is too short to diet! HA!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing breakfast! I drink a cup of coffee a day usually but that's it for my caffeine these days. It's a nasty 17 degrees here but it's supposed to jump to the fifties tomorrow...I sure hope it does!
ReplyDeleteBeth, now that's a BREAKFAST! Yummers! Now I'm hungry ;0)
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Joanne
Those pancakes look so good...now I'm craving them!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Your BIG breakfast looks wonderful! I love my coffee (black) and would have a hard time giving it up, I think. 60 sounds heavenly to me- we are in the 30's and expecting more snow- UGH- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteYour big breakfast looks good but having a big breakfast they say is what one should eat from so called night fast..
ReplyDeleteBreakfast says Fast.
My neighbor brought to us syrup he made for our pancakes on a sunday.
He let the trees drip and then he and wife boiled it up. I bet that will taste yummier.
I love the name of the restaurant! And, at least it's not a dreary day at -10 :)
ReplyDeletegosh, that looks yummy!
ReplyDeleteHi Beth,
ReplyDeleteIt is cold and dreary again here today. I hope it turns warmer again soon, as it really does seem to affect me at the moment.
Hugs Nita
That food looks delicious and I love a cup of coffee. I try to limit myself to one small cup per morning.
ReplyDeleteWow!
ReplyDeleteI have been so hungry for pancakes lately, and those sure look tastey! Rainy and dreary around here today. Glad you got to have breakfast out with your daughter!
ReplyDeleteLiz
The good thing about large portions is that I take most of the food home with me and it gives me two more meals.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Oh yum! We like breakfast for dinner. Often it's waffles but I could do pancakes.
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious! I very much like irish cream in my coffee. :)
ReplyDeleteI have to watch my caffeine also but still enjoy a cup of hot tea almost daily. I've cut all iced tea and soda out and really enjoy just drinking ice water. I need to wash curtains also. I haven't done them in quite a LONG time. You are inspiring me to maybe get to them soon! :)
ReplyDeleteWOW! That is one huge, wonderful looking meal!
ReplyDeleteHi Beth, great post...and those photos! I don't drink coffee much, but I do have some fresh coffee (ground) in my fridge for the times I want to made a cup. I also love cream in my coffee as well, my favourite is hazelnut cream. I am more of a tea drinker. I never have more than two cups of caffeinated coffee or tea per day, and always only in the morning. I opt for herbal tea in the evenings, naturally no caffeine in it. That is one fantastic meal here, so glad you enjoyed it and the coffee.
ReplyDeleteI can't have coffee either so I'm with you, thats a beautiful meal but the coffee would be my treat!
ReplyDeleteI'm not even hungry....don't even like eggs or coffee, but wow! That looks delicious! And I say more power to you to rebel against your doctor's orders...at least once in a while! Live a little!
ReplyDeletelooks like a whole days meals all at once! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you got on alright at the Dr.
ReplyDeleteThe pancake looks appetizing.
Pancakes. A vey big favorite of mine. Then there's coffee. I've always liked it but in the last few years I have become completely infatuated with it. In fact I think I'll go brew a pot a soon as I finish here.
ReplyDeleteWoW!! a definate "re-visit soon" kinda place!!
ReplyDeleteOh that looks enticing Beth...I just love Coffee .
ReplyDeleteHugs Sheila x
I'm glad you had that cup of coffee. It's okay to break down once and awhile:) I can't imagine life without my brew.
