I had an appointment this morning with the dermatologist (reminding everyone again how important sun screen is.) Tomorrow morning is an appointment with my cardiologist.
Taken this morning.
Then on the way home a stop at Costco.
Lots of new building going on in East Peoria close to the Costco store.
Thank you for your comments on my post yesterday. Your prayers are appreciated.
Have a wonderful week. Stay safe and be happy!!
Beth
beautiful blooming tree! hope your appts. go well!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a blessed week Beth.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what the mint green building is going to be....it's a pretty color! Hope all went well at the doctor's office!
ReplyDeleteIt is so important that we take care of our health. I just stay out of the sun as much as I can. I never have enjoyed being in it.
ReplyDeleteIt looks as though spring has finally arrived there! I hope this will be the loveliest spring ever for you!

Take care Beth. Hug B
ReplyDeletebeautiful photos! I love the color of that big building!! I hope all went well today!
ReplyDeleteYes, sunscreen is important. My Dad developed melanoma, and then lymphoma. He was always outside.
ReplyDeleteThe tree is beautiful! Bill is always going through or near Peoria; it really has grown!
Take care!
Well thanks for the little tour Beth.
ReplyDeleteI remember the days when we used to rub baby oil on our skin and I don't have any problem tanning. Ah to be young and stupid again!
I so enjoyed the drive with you. Brings back many happy memories of holidays with friends in the USA. Just right!! Thanks Joan
ReplyDeleteLovely to see photos of where you live.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your Dr.'s appointment.
have a great day Beth, and the warning is appreciated, we have sunshine forecast and many people probably take it for granted, as we don't get much of it usually, and when we do we soak it up without taking due care. hugs aplenty xPenx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree and thank you for the Tour Beth, I hope you are enjoying the lovely weather. Hope your appointments go well for you .
ReplyDeleteHugs Sheila xx
I need to be more careful in the sun myself. Thanks for the reminder Beth :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo of mother and child.
ReplyDeleteI've learned how important sunscreen is. I no longer worry about a tan. Hope your appts go well.
That building looks interesting.
Have a great day!

The store I'm excited about here is a much larger Scheels under construction right now. I have always liked that store and this new one looks huge. The weather today hits nearly 80...it's absolutely wonderful. May God continue to bless you my friend.
ReplyDeleteHi Beth,
ReplyDeleteThat tree is similar to the ones outside here.
Take Care - Hugs Nita.
Thanks for sharing the pictures, Beth. I am in the market for a sun hat now that I will be cutting grass. My dad suffered with skin cancer terribly. He was bald most of his life and fair-skinned. They did not know the harmful effects of the sun then but we have no excuse these days.
ReplyDeleteStill praying! :):)
ReplyDeleteI wear sunscreen every single day. It is part of my morning routine.
ReplyDeleteThat tree is so pretty. Wish we had a Costco here. WalMart needs the competition. Pray for all good things at the doctors.
ReplyDeletelots of appts!! hope they are all uneventful. we go to costco here for lunch....(free sample lunch!)
ReplyDeleteHope the apts go well! Love the pictures.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Dear Beth!
ReplyDeleteTake care of you having a good time.

We visited the new Caterpillar welcome center a couple of weeks ago and were sickened by the flooding down by the river. I have never been to Costco, but I will definitely check out the one in Peoria the next time we are up that way!
ReplyDeleteI have been nosing around...first was trying to figure just where you live...what big town are you close to in IL? I live in West Central Indiana, north of Terre Haute....go shopping in Paris, Illinois fairly often.
ReplyDeleteAnd I am going to a dermatologist this coming Monday to see about some spots, one of which is really suspicious.
