And it is still snowing…

and I am sick of it.  I went out yesterday afternoon and cleaned my car off and I have been out this morning and cleaned it off again.  And it is still snowing.  I am way too old for this.  C’mon spring!!

And all right already, I think it is time for Juan Martinez to wrap up his cross examination of Jodi Arias.  My head was spinning around yesterday.  Court was finally closed early because Jodi had a migraine and the sheriff’s office hadn’t furnished her any lunch.  She has been promised lunch today and court will start 15 minutes early.

The roast I fixed yesterday was really good.  I think I will make some hash with the leftover potatoes and carrots and a bit of the roast.  Just dice everything together and brown it in a skillet sprayed with cooking spray.  I like it with a lot of catsup on it.  Then tomorrow I will make BBQ with the rest of the roast.

I am looking out the window now and the snow is still coming down.  It is pretty to look and that is about all it does for me.

Along with the trial I am reading another Lisa Gardner book.  She writes great suspense novels with a different twist.  I have ignored any and all cleaning because I figure it isn’t worth doing it in this kind of weather.

Have a sunny snow free day.  Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  2. We have been watching the Jodi Arias trial too. I will be so glad when it finally goes to the jury. I just hope they can see through her. I love Lisa Gardner books too. Just the right amount of suspense. Hoping your weather gets better real soon. I won't say a thing about our weather. Your roast sounds good.

  3. Not snow free here I am afraid.. glad you don't have to shovel this heavy stuff Sis it is nasty.I went out and it was freezing rain..shivered me so I opted to wait it out with hot chocolate. Today is another day. I haven't seen the trial but read about it.Sounds lengthy and intense. Haven't had roast in awhile, bought stew meat last week..was delish. Hope you are staying well XOXO

  4. We got a foot of snow, and it is still snowing here. Good grief.
So...what do you think of Jodi Arias?

  5. I haven't watched much of the trial, I get sick of it. Lots of snow here, Another coupleof inches last night. Slowly but surely I am chopping off the ice that is covering the drive. Such hard work. Hot chocolate sounds like a very good idea.

  7. It has stopped raining here in Florida. It's sunny and muddy. My collie came in with mud from his toes to his belly and I found a beautiful hole started in the backyard. He said he had heard he could dig his way to China and get Chinese food.

    Love,

  10. I don't blame you for being tired of the weather. We've been so unusually free of snow...I guess you all are taking one (or more) for the team. Perhaps next month will hold better weather.

  11. We didn't get an bit of snow this year. Very strange. But I can remember all the years in the midwest, and every year here until about 3 years ago. Read a good book and add some chocolate to the mix. You deserve to relax and enjoy. BGB

  15. Yes, it is a snow free day here, but it is cold. One good thing about making that roast is that there are so many things to do with the leftovers! Enjoy!
