It is beautiful out today. 23 degrees to rise to 40 today. The sun is shining brightly and that brings a smile to my face. I am in the mood to do some spring cleaning. I think however, that I used up all of my energy exercising for 1/2 hour this morning. So let’s wait on that for a few weeks.
I am well satisfied with my haircut for a change. lol I really miss my old beautician at home. She was the daughter of a friend of mine and she cut my hair for over 25 years. I stop in to see her when I go home to visit Jim’s grave.
I am still wrapped up in that silly Arias trial. Arias has taken the stand and is undergoing examination by her defense attorney. Today will be her third day of her testimony. I can’t wait for the prosecution to cross examine her. She has dissed her mother and father and the many guys that she had lived with or had affairs with, etc. Her poor mother sits there in the front row listening and every now and then she will whisper something to the woman sitting next to her who is her twin sister. This is just like a soap opera.
dissed past participle, past tense of dis
Verb
Act or speak in a disrespectful way toward.
I think I need to close this for now as I am in the mood to cook something. Not sure what yet.
I hope you all have a good day. Stay safe and be happy!!
Beth
Hi Beth,
ReplyDeletePleased you are having a good day, hope the cooking goes well.
Hugs Nita
i only clean GOOD, once per year, and i always start in january. it works really well for me because when i clean deep, i clean really deep!!
ReplyDeletei love the girl who cuts my hair....it's really important to have a good beautician when you have short hair.
The word "dissed" reminds me of "Fresh Prince of Bel Air". I think that's the show I first heard it on :)
ReplyDeletei like your plan to 'wait a few weeks'. :)
ReplyDeleteYou piqued my interest in this trial. I hadn't really paid much attention. Casey Anthony reminds me of someone I know, so I did watch that...and am still angry with her acquittal.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are happy with the haircut. I am pleased with mine as well. It's supposed to get above freezing today, but there is not sunshine. :0(
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad the haircut turned out good this time. I hate when you have someone like and you loose them, it's hard to get in the groove with a new stylist.
ReplyDeleteI must admit I didn't know much about the trial but with your post I had to look it up and follow a long a bit. Very sad disturbed lady. I feel for her family and the victims family also.
So glad you like your haircut! And I can't tell you how much time I spent in front of the TV watching the OJ trial!
ReplyDeleteIt does feel like we've made it through the worst of winter. The days are starting to get longer and the sun just FEELS closer! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI had to take my son for an MRI yesterday, he broke both of his arms in an accident in gym class, and the trial was on the TV in the waiting room. I was pretty fascinated also! Hope your day is going really good!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of that trial. I've had to change beauticians so many times because of so many moves. I'm fortunate to love the young lady I have now.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
It's already 35 for us which is kind of how it goes. Later on I hear the colder stuff comes back...February is still February. I'm not watching any trials in fact we've been watching the show "Smash"...at least my wife is...me, I'm waiting for "The Walking Dead" that starts up again on Sunday...I'm really excited for that!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're having a happy sunny day and that you liked your hair cut. That always makes us happy doesn't it!!?
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty nice around here as I write this. 34 degrees seems like a heat wave after the single digits we have been experiences. All will change by Friday as we are expecting a blizzard. Thanks for all your support Beth. You are #1 on my list.
ReplyDeleteCook Erich and me some cherry cobbler?

As I sit here reading blogs, it's snowing again. expected to get 6 inches this time. I'm so ready for spring too.
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked you haircut! sandie
ReplyDeleteYou are so welcome Beth!
ReplyDeleteI have been on a news-fast since the election and I have never heard of the trial. Hope you continued to have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThat trial is a new one on me. I don't think I have heard of it at all. Have I had my head under the ground?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are more satisfied with your haircut. I've had the same beautician for over 30 years. She isn't far from being my age, so I don't know when I'll be looking for another one.
Hope you had a good day!
xo Nellie
I don't know the trial you're talking about, but I do know about missing one's hairstylist.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a personal thing, isn't it?!
Greetings from Minneapolis!

Morning Beth I am so happy you are happy with your haircut. I have no idea what the trial you are talking about is, I sometimes miss news stuff too busy watching the Young and the Restless:)
ReplyDeleteTake care my friend Hug B
Happy to hear you Love your new hair cut Beth, have a really good week.

I find my hairdressers keep moving also. I had my hair short too and it is a hairstyle that needs to be kept up. Everytime I go back my hairdressers have moveed to another town. My hair grows long in two weeks and most hair grows in 6 weeks in 2 o4 weeks . So I have had to cut my own bangs especially. I worked in hairdressing with my friend so I can be brave and cut my own. So in the Spring. I may just let it go to the neck and know further. That way I can just blow dry it under. If I go pass that. I end up wearing a pony tail through the cap. I love med lenghthair but to me having curly hair it sticks out if I go to my short hair when I have my pictures taken. Sorry I am going on as if it is my blog. So have you got a picture up of your new hairstyle cut Beth?
