Well, it is partly sunny. I see the sun peeking out from behind the clouds once in awhile. The temp is to reach 38 degrees today.
I did not want to get up this morning. One of those mornings when I really had to force myself to get up. At least it is getting light a little bit earlier each morning. That will change on March 10th when we go on daylight savings time. I am not a fan of daylight savings time as I can see no point in wanting it to stay light out until 9 PM. Now when I was young it was a different story.
I saw the tax accountant yesterday and dropped my pile of stuff in his hands. He sends a question form for us to fill out each year. I didn’t fill it out this year. He charges way enough money that I figured he could do that himself. I don’t have all of the stuff to contend with like I did before I sold my house and I could probably do it myself in a few minutes if I wasn’t so lazy.
Because of the power outage (thanks Beyonce) my DVR recorded an hour of the Super Bowl instead of Elementary which is one of my favorite new shows. Rather aggravating!
I need to get a move on as I have an appointment for a hair cut this morning. Fingers crossed!!
I hope you all have a great week. Stay safe and be happy!!
Beth
Hope you have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteHi Beth,
ReplyDeleteHope the sun shines and that you have a good week.
Hugs Nita
A new haircut is a good reason for getting up. Now that my hair looks like a mop, I should be thinking of the same thing. I will welcome Daylight Savings Time...wonder if I will change my mind some day.
ReplyDeletebeth, Just remember , the difference between a bad hair cut and a good one is two weeks.:):) So they say. We had sunshine yesterday , not so much this morning. I am debating about going out to lunch, since we will be going out tomorrow for sure. Oh I better just fix lunch here. Come on over:):)LOL. Enjoy this great day.xo,Susie
ReplyDeleteHave a great day Beth, a haircut makes you feel good . I just had my hair cut and feel it suits me to. Sleet today here and 2c
ReplyDeleteHugs Sheila xx
Have a great day, Sunshine! Be safe!
ReplyDeletei haven't begun our taxes yet. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteI love haircuts! They can make you feel sooooo pretty! Hope your day is wonderful and that your tax man earns his money!
ReplyDeleteIt's been warmer here with sun that seldom shows itself...I guess we can't always have the best of both worlds. Can you imagine daylight savings coming up like that? Wow! I hope you love your haircut my friend, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteOh man I was so upset when I sat down to watch my DVR last night to find that it was the superbowl .. UGh I didn't watch it Sunday why would I want to DVR it.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Oh Beth I bet your hair cut makes you look beautiful. I love that show Elementary too. Take care. Hugs B
ReplyDeleteHope you like your hair cut-always gives me a lift.
ReplyDeleteQuestion if you don't mind-I have been trying to put a similar countdown button on my blog. I followed the directions but I just can't get it on-any tips or hints to make it work?
Thanks and have a good week.

DeleteI will try to email the exact instructions.
My DVR does that regularly during football season. Especially my Sunday evening shows!
ReplyDeleteIt's a cloudy, dreary day here today...20 some degrees and windy. But I had a hair cut this morning and that made my day brighter. Hope you have a good one.
ReplyDeleteI am no fan of DST, either! I prefer my daylight in the morning hours. I was up at 6:00 this morning as I had many things to do today. Now I feel like it is time for a nap. How do you like your haircut?
ReplyDeletexo Nellie
Wish a little sunshine would pop out here my me.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of moving the time back either and never have been. I think we should just leave it alone. I'd like to move to AZ where they don't!!!
Wednesday morning down here.
ReplyDeleteIt's light till 9pm in our evenings plus we then have twilight.
Love daylight saving, always have done.
Hope your hair cut went ok as I am sure it did.
Hope your haircut went well.
ReplyDeleteHi Beth, Hope you had a nice day and that your like your hair cut. When Jodi took the stand in her trial yesterday, I thought of you. John and I have been watching bits and pieces of the trial. It will be VERY interesting to see the Prosecutor question her!
ReplyDeleteHi Beth, Just stopping by to see how you are doing, and check to see if the count down was on for Spring. Wow! 41 days to go.I am sure ready to welcome Spring whenever she gets here.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice that the days are getting longer, and it is still light out when I get home from work. Longer days means I will soon have more time to get out with my camera once again.
Well you take care and have a great week.
Hugs,Dianne :)
I hope you have a good week too, Beth. It got up to 50 here in the Seattle area today. I have Sprong fever and bought some Prim Roses over the weekend. Sooo pretty. Enjoy! BGB
ReplyDeleteI wish they would leave the time one way or the other so we wouldn't all have to adjust every time it changes.
ReplyDelete"Thanks Beyonce"....you kill me, Beth. That was just exactly what I said when the lights went out. All her special effects just sucked the juice right out of that stadium! lol
I'll be meeting up to have lunch with our tax lady.:) Hope your haircut came out pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteSunshine and a haircut, priceless. Taxes, ugh.
ReplyDeleteLike Nancy said "Taxes, ugh." Rather pleasent here at the moment but that will change.
ReplyDeleteHaircuts. I come from the 60's generation, my father was a barber. It wasn't easy to grow my hair long, but I ended up doing that as my father gave up. Now I say, just cut it short.
I have days in the winter months when I do not want to get out of bed, I do of course as there is no rest for the wicked or me....lol
