Not me…

I woke up this morning to find out that I was not a winner of the Mega Millions jackpot.  Two lucky winners in two different states.  Oh well, I rarely buy a lottery ticket but when the jackpot gets so high I do splurge and buy some tickets.  I am not lucky at winning things but I do consider myself fortunate each day I am able to get out of bed and I do thank God for that.

This morning I am able to walk with a lot less pain.  This will be the third day in a row with no exercising and I think I will have to wait several more days before I start that again.  I do need some things from the store so I will try and get there tomorrow.

It is lovely this morning with the sun shining brightly and the temperature to top out at 34 degrees.  More snow forecast for Thursday and Friday though.  I think I am pretty close in stating only 75 more days till Spring!!

This is it for today.  Stay safe and be happy!

Red heart  Beth

  1. Never mind Beth,
you won a lottery of sorts, in that today you're not feeling as much pain. I wish there was magic wand I could use, but then maybe the 'magic' is in being able to call round each others site and brighten each others day?... maybe so!
Take care and pfffft to the exercise, it can wait, and Spring?...I hold my arms open wide in welcome, only 75 days?...not too long if you say it fast!! lol!! xPenx
and thank you for your lovely comment, always appreciated..x

  2. Frankie's going to yell at the folks who keep selling her defective lottery tickets and see if that gets her a refund.

  3. No winner here either. With a jackpot like that you just have to take a chance. Glad you moving better. It's really rough when getting around hurts.

  4. Isn't it odd - that urge to buy tickets when the prize is so high? Your odds are neither better nor worse. My brother Liam worked for 17 years in a local grocery, and he said (this was years ago) that as soon as the prize passed 15 million, sales went up sharply. It is like people everywhere are thinking - 'only three million? Chump change! Too much trouble'. Really? If you DID suddenly acquire three million or even one million, are you telling me it wouldn't pretty much solve all the problems for you that 300 million would solve? (Until you started running out trying to find newer bigger ones). "Man on the street" interviews on the news last night resulted in people saying things like they'd go someplace warmer, they'd pay off the mortgage or get a new car, or things like that. And just one extra million wouldn't do the job? Some mortgage!

  5. Glad you're not in as much pain today, Beth, and hoping tomorrow will be even better. I hate pain.
I know you are counting the moments and almost into counting seconds before Spring. 75, 74, 73...hey, 75 days is only 108,000 seconds! And we know how fast a second goes by. Almost there, Beth!
    XOXOXO

  12. Dear Beth, That is promising news that you can walk around with less pain. Please, Beth, just take all the rest you need. God is taking care of the rest. I wish I could win the lottery - I've said before we'd be right on over to help you. Is it possible to have the items you require from the store delivered to your home? Perhaps that would help a little, so you didn't have to carry things in and out of your car. May your day continue to shine! With love and care from Kerrie. xOx
