That S word again…

Yep, I had to clean my car off again this morning before I could run some errands.  Looks like a couple of inches, I don’t even keep count anymore.  I have lived a long time and the winters just keep getting worse every year.  We are right at breaking the all time snowfall record this season.  I guess that is quite an honor.  Well, maybe it would be if we were talking ski slopes here.  Sarcastic smile

The muffins turned out perfectly.  I got 6 large muffins and a small loaf out of the recipe.  I took 4 muffins over to my daughter, froze 2 and I am working on consuming the small loaf.  YUMMM!!

I am going to get off the computer and dig out the vacuum and clean a little bit this afternoon.  Mostly to have something to do.  I will be so glad when the weather warms up and I can go outside and walk.

I hope you all are having a great weekend.  Stay safe and be happy.

Red heart  Beth

  6. After getting whacked with 60 inches of snow in two weeks, a month ago, we have had a few minor "snow events". A couple of inches here and there, just like we will get tonight(Sat.). It's getting warmer day by day.

I tried skiing twice. Both times were a disaster. The best part was having dinner in tho lodge and going home. At least there were no broken bones, just a bruised ego.

  7. The muffins look delicious, and yes now I am hungry for one. Ha!
I have been so busy, that I have only been out snowshoeing once all winter. I had alot of fun that day and had a good workout!
The weather hasn't been to co-operative here either as I have wanted to go find some owls to photograph, at a provincial park where I saw them last year. Two weekends in a row I haven't been able to go due to bad weather. Oh well maybe next week end. whoooooooo knows! :)
Have a wonderful Sunday, what ever you do or don't do.
    Dianne :)

Hmmm...I DO have some blueberries and what better way to wake up than with blueberry muffins!!! Hope the snow doesn't get you too down...spring WILL get here eventually. Bright and sunny here, but a chilly 29. Enjoy today and the coming week...

  12. Would you like me to assign someone to butter your muffin? I prefer them plain actually. Why have extra calories on something that is delicious by itself?

Those muffins sure look good. I was out today and forgot about buying crushed pineapple. I just might have to make a special trip into town.
