I must have hit something accidentally to get my iPod alarm to go off at 6AM each morning. I have my regular alarm clock so I never set the iPod to start playing music at 6AM. I lay awake this morning just waiting to see what would happen. The music starts at 6, I shut it off, it comes on again at 6:10 and I shut it off. It comes on a 3rd time at 6:30 so I think to myself, get your bottom end out of bed as this is garage sale day. Plus I had a load of clothes to wash. So I am behind schedule already. Plus my neighbor grabbed me this morning wanting to talk and that set me back. After we ranted awhile about management here I hurried back to tend to my laundry. Then a bite of breakfast, put my clothes in the dryer, called my daughter to tell her I would be late and that is how my morning started. No time this morning for workout. I will get that walking to the garage sales . LOL
I have been reconnecting with some of my old classmates through classmates.com. It is kind of fun. I even found a few I wish I hadn’t. It is interesting. Try it for free sometime and then it has a very low monthly fee. I just don’t like facebook for some reason. I never have.
I should run now and check on the clothes in the dryer and as my bro, Boston Boy would say, I’m outta here. You all stay safe and be happy!!
Beth
Hi Beth just catching up classmated mm sounds interesting, although there was always someone you didn't get along with. I can remember one girl in particiular... Enjoy your day with your daughter. Hugs Sheila x:)
ReplyDeleteYou know what? I think you hit the alarm unknowingly and then keep hitting sleep so it keeps coming on over and over again. I must say my i-Pod would never survive the insult of waking me at the hour of the morning unasked. I'm with you about Face Book and even more with you about the classmate thing. I found a few but it almost always makes me see why I was never thrilled with them in school either! Have a great day Beth!
ReplyDeleteI've just finished my second "redneck physical therapy" session of the day.....walking the dogs in the field at the top of our road. I must admit that I'm feeling better than I have in years even if I know I'll pay the price this evening when my back and legs are sure to flare up but it's a good sort of pain if you know what I mean. The dogs are working together very nicely on their leads now.
ReplyDeleteSorry you have an ipod with ah mind of it's own. I guess you will have to find the instructions ;-0
ReplyDeleteHave FUN saleing!
iPod? What's an iPod? (just kidding) I don't have one and know nothing whatsoever about them. Also, finally got myself totally deleted from facebook and stay away from that and twitter and flickr now. Ate up too much time. I have kept in touch with the girls from high school I wanted to and my first boyfriend, so I'm okay with that. In fact, our high school has a website and you can go and check out your graduating class, too! Times have sure changed.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a blast with your garage sales and you got all your laundry done. I'd be annoyed to be getting woken up at 6am when I don't have to be. I hope you get that figured out. I'd ask somebody while you are at the garage sales. Somebody who looks young enough to figure out iPods--ROFL! ;)
@ for Rita. It is the docking station that is causing the iPod to start playing at 6. That is OK. I am a morning person anyway and I like to get up early.
ReplyDeleteoooh glad to read u resolve the issue. I want one of those ipod/ipad but lord the prices are rediculous!
ReplyDeletemy daughter allowed me to use hers (ipod) it was not bad and my colleague has the ipad not bad either, now my issue....the PRICE.
Hope you find some bargains at the garage sales, I haven't been to one for a few years....
ReplyDeleteIt was good read you are happily busy time.
ReplyDeleteHope you will find a good things from the garage sales.
Sweet Beth I so appreciate your dear comment's. You are so wise. I dont like face book at all...to much drama for me.
ReplyDeleteLove,Debbioe:)
I hope you fix your Ipod. I'm with you. My Hubby has a facebook account but I don't. I don't know why, but I just don't like facebook. did you get anything good at the garage sale today?
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Joanne
Sounds like you have everything under control accept for your ipod. Hope you had a great day and found some treasures at the yard sales.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful, last weekend of the summer, Beth
I signed up for Facebook a few years ago but I could never manage to keep up with it. Not that I had any kind of following. I can barely manage to maintain this blog.
ReplyDeleteI like garage sales but haven't been to one in a few years.
It's getting late and I have a load of clothes drying. Why did I wait so long? Two more days and I'm off to The Vineyard. I can't wait but I must.
Now I'm outta here.
Hello again. I like Facebook because I get to keep up with the grandkids and nieces and nephews and cousins by the dozens ;)and so enjoy hearing about their college lives and High school too, and family doings when we live so far apart. Enjoy the time with your daughter today. from Bertie
ReplyDeleteIf you are using facebook, make sure you put it to private..... many, many virus going around on facebook. I know 3 people myself that had to buy another computer from the harm caused by facebook. I guess they were able to trace it back to where it came...... ouch! I never tried classmates, on the free one, you really don't get to do much....not sure on the paid plan, is it any good? Have a nice week end........

Classmate pales in comparison to the number of friends I've found on Facebook. The social media phenomenon is amazing. Mom (Bertie) knows you by name because you read her blog.
