Bright sunshiny Thursday…

and the countdown to spring is in place at 75 days. It is 45 degrees right now heading up to mid 50s.

I have been to the post office and Walmart and finished off the outing eating lunch at 8th Street Station aka Grumpy Pete’s. I felt very safe eating there today as two of the fuzz were eating there also. The walleye was delicious!!! The food there is always good in the buffet.

Have any of you noticed how fast the ink is used up in the HP Printers? I wish now I had bough an Epson. It costs a fortune too!

Not much news, just checking in with you all. I hope you are having a great day and you have the bright sunshine I am having today. Stay safe and be happy!

Beth

  1. Yeah to warming up :).

Sounds like a fun outing you had! We upgraded to the Kodak due to the ink cost. It was killing me. I've tried buying the cheap generic kind with not the best of luck!

  4. Sunny and 46 here today! After going through HP, Canon, Epson and Dell printers I finally bought a Kodak that not only uses less ink, the cartridges are cheaper as well. I just bought a double pack of black ($26)and a double pack of color ($31) at Walmart yesterday.

It's 54 F here and sunny, expected low tonight 38F. Gonna get warmer and rain Saturday, the guessers say.
I wonder if the printers are programmed to claim 'empty', when not, just saying.

  6. I need ink cartridges, too, for my new HP. Yup! Expensive!

  7. Beth, I get the ink at Shopko and Walmart. I suppose it depends on the kind of printer you have. Mine takes 6 but they all come packaged together. Can get them singly at $12 each. My printer is an hp 3210 all-in-one.

  8. My ink doesn't seem to be available anywhere locally. We have to order all of it on line. Gets pricy that way.

  9. Yes I have noticed. I wondered if I was wrong but I see I'm not.

  10. Isn't there someplace online that sells ink cheaper? I thought they refilled the old cartridges for a lower price.

My printer is a Canon. I don't remember how much the ink is, but I do know it's gone up over the past couple of years! Which reminds me, I need to buy more! I put my new cartridges in and I always try to keep a spare on hand.

  11. I think it depends on the quality of prints we select. Some modes use more ink. I would never use refills and like mine (HP) just fine. Even when I get the alert to replace because supply is low, I keep on printing until there isn't a drop left! I get quite a few after the alert. I'm satisfied. I previously had an Epson printer and it was very satisfactory too.

  12. My husband read that theprinters tell you they are out long before they really are. We have HP but he keeps using the cartridge until it shows signs of getting low. We get ours at Staples but Cosco has it too. No walmarts here.
Happy Thursday, Beth. Oh it is almost Friday. Goodnight. bertieblue
