this morning, just a thunderstorm. It is still very dark out at almost 8 AM. I guess we do need the rain as it hasn’t rained but a tiny drizzle so far this month.
I walked with my camera just to the end of my block yesterday. Gorgeous tulip trees in bloom!
My battery died after the third shot so that was all of my picture taking for yesterday.
The power just went out for a minute. I need to shut this off I think.
Tomorrow is the first day of spring.
I hope you all have a great week. Stay safe and be happy!!
Beth
No rain here...YET. lol I know it's supposed to be coming, but the sun is out for now, and that's good enough for me.
ReplyDeleteTrying to catch up reading from the past couple of days..my life kinda got away from me for a minute there. lol
Oh the lucky one's who get spring early...we have new white snow all over the place.
ReplyDeleteThank you for you sweet comment's.
Love,Debbie:)
My goodness those trees are delightful! We have snow today, yes you read right, snow. I didn't expect we'd get smacked down the day before the official start of spring but we surely did...the winter storm advisory is done but that is all I've got to console me on the thirty degree temperature drop. Bless you my friend, enjoy the warming days!
ReplyDeleteSo you call them what I do. I posted a pic of them in Flickr a year ago and got told that I was wrong. Turned out I was, but I still call them tulip trees.
ReplyDeleteSaucer Magnolia, Tulip Tree is what they are really called so we are both right.
DeleteHad rain here this morning but really nice now. The trees are absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all I have your sunshine and I'm keeping it for the rest of the week. In fact in a couple of days it's going to hit 85. I think that's too hot for this time of year but at least I don't have to shovel the heat. Just to mix things up I wouldn't mind a sudden snowstorm right now. Just to mix things up. It wouldn't last long. as they say in New England, "If you don't like the weather just wait a minute."
ReplyDeleteI have one of those trees in my front yard. I always new it as a Magnolia tree though.
Hey I just wrote a blog in your comments section!
By the way, very nice pictures!
DeleteWe had rain, wind, and a cloudy day today. Warm again. We've been breaking heat records up here! Hope your day was a good one. :)
ReplyDeletePretty pictures! Stay safe. beach Gal Bertie
ReplyDeleteIt's storming here right now. There was hail moving our direction, but luckily for us, it changed paths. We need the rain, I guess, but it just makes for a muddy mess in my house from my three dogs. I guess we can't all be happy all the time. God must get really frustrated trying to please us all. :)
ReplyDeleteYay spring! that is s gorgeous tree, I love it when the trees start to bloom.
ReplyDeleteHAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING SIS!!!
ReplyDeleteXXOO
Isn't it strange that winter went so quick..not quite putting my heavy coat away yet..just in case..
Have a great day!
I know we desperately need rain , but do we want it? I'm being selfish by saying NO, For a start it would spoil all the lovely blossom that's just starting to flower on the trees, and ...I get my hair wet when walking the dogs :-) Lovely photos Beth. enjoy the sun.
ReplyDeleteOH Wow ... that tree is so beautiful I love to see the changes from your last photos!
