Good Morning…

It is a warm morning in the heart of Illinois.  It isn’t raining but it is 69 degrees right now and very humid.  More storms are on the way for this afternoon.

I am just back from Walgreens, getting some of their specials before they are gone.  The ad comes out on Sunday morning and the specials are gone before noon.  16 ounce Quaker Oatmeal on sale for $1.99, I had to grab that up.  Everything is so expensive now that you have to stock up when something is on sale.

I am still up in the air about buying the new TV.  I visited the two dealers in town and they were as high as out of town and wouldn’t set up the TV or carry the old one away.  My TV is taking longer each day to come on.  I will have to do something soon as  it takes longer each day for the TV to come on.

I hope you all have a great week.  Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  1. Oh I hated having to replace household items. Appliances (and I think of a TV as an appliance) are no fun at all. It's more fun to buy a new gadget. he he - Good luck on your decisions.

    1. Finding the right TV is as bad as buying a new car. Pain in the wazoo.

  2. Raining and cold again up here. I hope you can find a proper deal on a new TV that you feel good about. It's a big purchase, so wait till it feels right. :)

  4. Have you checked on line? I know you probably want to support your local economy....I should be ashamed even asking you if you checked on line. Forget that I asked.

  6. Nice sunny day here in UK Beth. I hope you get your TV problem sorted, though they're not cheap, and you definitely don't want the hassle of having to get rid if the old one, or setting up the new, though i did set mine up, not too difficult. Can't make comment on your bargains as I'm not familiar with your currency. but when I come on holidya I'll have to be a bit more savvy, won't I ?

  8. Hi Beth,

It is sunny here with showers, but very chilly for this time of year. Hope you get your t.v. soon.

Thank you for keeping us in prayer. We especially need them tonight for a number reasons, Callum especially is finding life tough at the moment. I feel a bit all prayed out tonight, so it was good to read your comment and know you are upholding us.

    God Bless

    Hugs Nita

  9. I don't mind grocery shopping, it is the paying I don't like. Seriously, I like the free samples and will try my best to go back for seconds. I know. I am bad!
I could probably live without my TV... but not without the Internet. My TV is almost like my home phone these days. I can take it or leave it. It's also true that some people just turn on a TV for background noise or company... I know I do. Then again.... if I didn't have a my TV, I wouldn't be able to enjoy my PS3. OK. I can't live without my TV either. :o)
