Nothing for me today but Jell-O and broth in preparation for my test tomorrow. I have orange Jell-O which is all I had on had on hand. Now, I am not a lover of Jell-O. My mom used to make the stuff and she would put bananas and marshmallows in it, sometimes drained fruit cocktail. I was about 6 or 7 when I barfed after eating it. From then on it was not a favorite of mine. Jim loved it so I fixed it for him. I can tolerate it if it is doctored up with good stuff. Plain, like today, yuck!
I have been to Kroger this morning. Mostly to get out of the house. I did purchase Janet Evanovich’s latest book and that old staple that we all can’t live without, TP. I am old enough to remember outdoor potty houses, just barely, but I can remember them.
On the way home from the store I had a red SUV on my tail all of the way. The speed limit in town is 30 MPH which is what I was doing. Followed me all of the way till I was almost home and then he turned. I say he because I didn’t get a good look at his face and of course we all know that men are the tailgaters instead of women. lol
It is a beautiful morning, sunny and a bit cooler. Just a great day to be alive and believe me I have already thanked God for that.
Have a wonderful week. Stay safe and be happy!!
Beth
Jello? Sounds like a yukky sorta test, Twin. I don't care for it either no matter what you do to it. I'll be here and I'll be thinking of you in the morning. xxxooo

DeleteHi Beth,
ReplyDeleteWow, another test, you cope remarkably well.
Hugs Nita.
I like plain jello, probably since I grew up with all the "extras" in it! lol!
ReplyDeleteI wish you all the best with your test. Have a feast when you get home!

ReplyDeleteHi, Beth, I'm bj and I'm glad to know ya. :)
ReplyDeleteI came over from Vee's....and glad I did.
OK, I am thinking you and I may be close in age (old as dirt) by the looks of your profile photo...taken in the 50's/60's..??
I know I am a little older...I say this 'cause I remember outdoor potties all too well....been there, done that. :))
Good luck on your test...and I like jello if I have whipped cream to go on it. :))
I signed up to follow...come over, follow and maybe we'll meet in the middle and I can have jello and whipped cream and you can have a big ole chocolate brownie, iced, with lots of pecans. :)))
I pray all goes well tomorrow with the test!
ReplyDeleteI don't like jello with fruit in it but do like it plain with a little RediWhip.
I love Jell-O anyway it can be served. Never got enough of it, besides it's good for your fingernails. :-)

Good luck with your test tomorrow. I'm sure you'll be glad to get it over with. I hope you have a nice week.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, Beth! I know what you are going through, and I don't envy you at all. I hope tomorrow will go well. I had my "procedure" the first week in February. I find the prep horrible, so I'm certainly sending along my best wishes to you.
ReplyDeleteAfter being away for several days, I hope to be getting back to my blog following soon.
xo Nellie
Dear Beth!
ReplyDeleteYou having a beautiful sunny day for you.
It does not thinking about some food..
Have a nice day!
Michiko
I have to agree with you, I think men do the tailgating also! Hope your tests go well tomorrow and you can have something to eat soon!
ReplyDeleteJello sounds so good right now. But there is a limit to it all, isn't there?:) There are still very few poddy houses out there. I remember them on my Grandparents land....they were scary because critters love them! But my first real experience with one of these places was in Nicaragua. Everyday I would wonder if it would be my last:)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the test and have yourself a treat afterwards.

ReplyDeleteMy Mom has a jello with ice cream layer on top that rocks...however I've never eaten it until I throw up so I'm good with it! It's very hot and dry here again with red flag warnings being the daily norm...I have never seen that for as long as it's been here this year.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck Beth thinking of you. Hugs Sheila xx
ReplyDeleteI hope all goes well with your test Beth, I like what you call Jell-o [we just call it jelly] and I'd eat yours for you if I thought it would do you good. I like it with cake and fruit in topped with custard and cream, Trifle, mmmmm lush
