Yesterday was a…

beautiful day.  It got up to 80 degrees here.  After I did a bit of cleaning I went out for a short walk.  Even after the rains we have had there are still some lovely colors to enjoy right on my block.

I did get the bathroom cleaned yesterday and that is about all.  I have to make a short grocery run this morning before the cold front goes through,  The low temp last night was 64.  That is above the average high for the day and the 30s roll in tonight.

Have a wonderful day.  Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  9. It was so nice I took the puppy, my kindle and went and read at the picnic table before we put it away. Just wish it would stay around a little longer.

  14. The colors have been beautiful here as well in PA. Not sure what the weather is going to do with the hurricane and all coming up the coast. Seems every day there is something else to clean around here! Hope you had a nice day. Good for you for voting early!

  15. Its been warm here again but cloudy and pretty gloomy - haven't see the sun at all today.
Cleaning the bathroom is the one household chore that I really hate to do. I don't mind anything else!!

Glad to hear you got out for a nice walk. : )

  16. Wow it's only been in the 60's here for highs and the upper 30's to lower 40's at night. I don't really care for that lol.

  17. Hi Beth, I hope your cold spell isn't going to keep you from doing your grocery run, and doesn't bring any snow, the weather seems to be able to change so quickly in your country, though we are expecting a drop in temperature from to-morrow, Keep warm Arlene XX

the colors of autumn are my favorite.
tonight is trick or treat here...mild though, 60's. I remember trick or treat nights where my kids would have to wear winter coats!

  19. Cleaning the bathroom is a major thing. Just doing that in one day is enough house cleaning:) The more bathrooms; the more work:( On Sunday we cleaned both and it felt....good. Enjoy the warm weather while you can. Sounds lovely.

  26. Beth, the colors in your neighborhood have gone to that muted stage that I love so well. I think you have awhile yet to enjoy autumn. That was a very warm day you enjoyed. I'm thinking that Indian summer will not arrive after all here. Now you've reminded me to make my grocery list and get going!

  27. You have a lot more leaves on the trees left than we do up here--that I can see, anyways. Of course we've had a lot of rain and it is always windy up here. ;) Have a fun Saturday!

  29. I love to join you on your walk and enjoy the fall colors. We are still warm here but the breeze today is blowing all the leaves off the trees.

  31. Thanks for sharing the cancer research badge. I'm taking a copy and will post it tomorrow. It looks as tho your trees are about as far gone as ours. Won't be long and leaves will be history. Hope you are doing well Beth.

  32. Each colourful leave that is falling dancingly it’s way down to the ground is a little reminder for us to be fully in the present moment and to observe nature’s most magnificent splash of colours and art.
Love taking walks during the fall.... cool fresh air feels so good.
