"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the government take care of him better take a closer look at the American Indian."
Henry Ford

I usually don’t discuss politics in my blog but I will say one thing. I am thoroughly sick of the words ‘Fiscal Cliff.’

Stay safe and be happy!

I am so SICK of these games. Government has a spending problem, simple, and they should cut spending rather than raise taxes. UGH.
ReplyDeleteAhmen sister. Maybe we won't hear about it again until the next election.

Amen to this post! I think our congressmen and senators are a bunch of spoiled children who think more of themselves than the country they have been elected to serve!
ReplyDeleteI wish we'd all get sick of it enough to get some of these fools out of power...after the election it seems chances of that are pretty low.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you Sis..Hoping 2013 is very good to you. Awaiting your countdown..can't come fast enough for me..seems like winter hangs on forever. Take care XOXO
ReplyDeleteMe too! I love that quote, it's sooo true!
ReplyDeleteHope your new year is full of good health, happiness & peace Beth...
ReplyDeletelove you hun
hugs
Me too!!!
ReplyDeleteAMEN! Working in the financial industry that is all I've heard for the last 5 months :)
ReplyDeleteLove that quote . . .and yes, the words "fiscal cliff" thoroughly make me want to puke!
ReplyDeleteI'm tired of hearing those two words too!
ReplyDeleteI love the Henry Ford quote! And yes if I never hear the words "fiscal cliff" again I will be a happy man :)
ReplyDeleteIf we were that slow and unproductive at our jobs we would be fired-LOL
ReplyDeleteHello Beth I am not on the edge of the fiscal cliff being Canadian but that is all that is on our news too. Now they can start talking about the good things going on in this world of ours. HUGS and Happy New Year. hugs B
ReplyDeleteDid we fall off, or not.....I have no idea!!
ReplyDeleteAnd what's that other one...Any government big enough to take care of you is big enough to take it all away...or something like that. We couldn't be more in agreement. And joy unspeakable that we have another cliff to topple off in February followed by one in March. Guess we better keep our eyes firmly on our true Source.
ReplyDeleteAnd, on that cheery note, Happy New Year, Beth!
Wishing you a good Wednesday, Beth. The little bit that remains of it, that is. I'm late "making my rounds" today.:-) xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteI agree.. I'm sick to death of it all.. Happy Wednesday to you.
ReplyDeleteAmen!
ReplyDeleteLove the quote on your header!!
I don't like getting into politics either, but I agree with you and wish we could fire every single person in Congress and the House! But then would we be able to find anyone better! I'm wondering!
ReplyDeleteAMEN- I wish some of those PEOPLE would jump off the fiscal cliff....did I say that?;>) xo Diana
ReplyDeletesense I almost drove my car seriously off a cliff this last week it has made me even more frustrated for the politicians to continue to not get theirs straighten out, crank the wheel and keep your foot off the brake dang it already!!
ReplyDeleteLove you mama Beth thank you for all the wonderful lil things you do to make me smile!!
H U G S!!!! L O V E!!!! P R A Y E RS!!!
This is a very wise quote. I so very much agree with you, too.
ReplyDelete...stay safe and be healthy too..."SOMEWHERE, there is someone who dreams of your smile..." love that in your header so much..:)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree! Both with the quote and you being sick of those words.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the quotes: the one about friendship and the one about government. Both are true.
