Monday Morning Madness…

Well, I am not mad, actually I am happy to see another day.  What I don’t like is that our winter weather watch has turned into a winter weather warning for 3 – 7 inches of freezing rain and snow.  This nice mess is to begin tonight and last until Wednesday.  This means another emergency run to the store this morning and to Wal*Mart.  The temp right now is 26 degrees and cloudy.

I started watching the fashion parade at the Oscars last night when the cable went out.  What I didn’t realize was that the telephone and internet had already been out for about 3 hours.  My sister had been trying to reach me for a couple of hours and she even called my daughter.  So today I am not bragging on ITV-3.  I don’t know what the problem was. My phone service would go out a lot at Comcast in addition to a bunch of other stuff so I still think I have the better of the two now.

I think my laundry is ready to put in the dryer so I will catch you all later.

Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  3. This sure is getting old isn't it? Well, nothing we can do about it I guess and at least we don't have hurricanes and storm surges. Okay, saying that didn't help...
Have a good week anyway. ;-)

What a bummer on the TV and phone. Glad to see it's back up. Plus anything better then comcast.

  7. We're so tired of this weather. I hope we have all we need for the next few days. Upsetting when things go out like that. I know a great many people have taken there landline phones out and go strictly cell.

  8. Well, I missed the "fashion parade," but it was rehashed on morning TV. I don't think I missed anything. We also go to bed earlier than the time the show goes off, so we didn't see many of the awards.

Stay safe and warm with this new storm coming through!

  10. So glad someone in this country is getting any type of moisture! I heard it's like 60 percent of the nation is expected to be in drought this summer. ugh.

  13. Thanks for reminding me to go check the washing machine, as you read on my blog I was without power on Saturday night so I know how much it sucks to have no power due to bad weather.

  17. Such a messy sounding storm. Supposed to head our way for tomorrow night and Weds. I wouldn't like losing my phone service, but am told that it could go out. Hope that you have some good books and some coziness planned.

  25. What an inconvenience Beth, coupled with the miserable weather, a real double whammy. I thought our weather was bad, but I certainly wouldn't trade it for yours, keep your chin up.
