Sunshiny Friday…

I overslept this morning and  now I don’t want to do anything. So for that very reason I am not going to do anything.  In fact I cut my exercise time down to 15 minutes this morning instead of 30 minutes.

I always listen to NOAA weather as I am making my bed each morning.  The weather forecast for Sunday made me want to go back to bed until spring really gets here.  80% chance of snow on Sunday with several inches of accumulation.

At least tomorrow there are a couple of sales for me to go to, one at a church and one at the Miller Senior Center.  I will catch the sales before the snow which is scheduled to begin tomorrow afternoon.

At least the sun is shining brightly today and I am grateful for that.

Have a peaceful relaxing weekend.  Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  2. Enjoy your sales Beth, today is a very wet one here, feel like doing not much at all. Cleaned the spare bedroom out just because ...I feel better now.
Hope the weekend is fine for you and you stay warm and cosy.

  3. It's snowing here even as I type...boy am I ever sick of the cold! Once the official spring day happens it always seems determined to act like winter for a good couple weeks anyway. I'm hoping for a good day in spite of it all. My wife and I are going to lunch..haven't done that in a while so I'm hoping it will cheer the day.

  5. Hi Beth, hope you don't get what we got this last week, we got about 3 feet of new fluffy snow. Yesterday this snow caused a 100 car pile up between Calgary and Edmonton, luckily no one was killed. There was a complete white out that caused this pile up.

  6. The sun is shining here today too. I think we are going to miss the round of snow that you are going to get.
    Have sun at the sales!

  7. I stayed in bed a long time this morning because I forgot to put my phone on the nightstand last night. I don't have a clock in my room, so without the phone I had no idea what time it was and I didn't know when to get up. I think I sound kind of pathetic now, lying in bed because I didn't know the time. Oh, well. You must be tired of snow. Visit me in Florida. I can't promise it won't rain, but I can promise no snow.

    Love,
    Janie

  8. Hopefully after this cold spell Spring will be here to stay.

Thanks for all the condolences you have given me lately. There has been alot of (chicken)deaths but with it comes more life so I'm starting to take it all in stride. It's part of this wonderful life I have, the good and the bad. Enjoy your day of doing nothing ☺

Beautiful tree in the picture. Is it yours?

  12. I'm sure I have commented here before, about how I loved seeing your Icon, in Pretty Blog Land.

    It could be of me!

And I still get a kick out of seeing it, every time I do, in someone's comments.

"The way we were," hu" :-)))))))))))))

So, while many of us are getting tired of this too-long-winter, I stopped by to tell you, that you still make me smile, when I see your Icon.

  16. You have us beat. No snow all winter and now when it's spring we woke up to 1 or 2" and coming down fast. I had a doctor's appointment in the next town so phoned to see how the roads were there. They said the traffic was moving. We went and it was just above freezing so we had no problem. But I can see why they want to put a certain animal in jail for fraud in Pennsylvania. He lied to us. :o) BGB

  17. Beth, I am with you...where is our real spring. I have to say today was pretty as could be. A little cold. I did some yard work, like picking up pine cones and sticks. Only the front yard..I could not believe how many pine cones were in the yard. I'll be stick picking the back yard another time...after the big thaw of this next snow-go-round. Stay warm and safe. xoxo,Susie

  19. Hi Beth,

The snow missed us, but spring is missing here as well. It's cold and rainy. And somehow the flu has found its way to our house - to Joy, Luke, and me. (We slept late today too)!

Enjoy your sales tomorrow. Be careful with the snow! Have a great weekend!
