Busy week…

I had an appointment this morning with the dermatologist (reminding everyone again how important sun screen is.)    Tomorrow morning is an appointment with my cardiologist.

  4. It is so important that we take care of our health. I just stay out of the sun as much as I can. I never have enjoyed being in it.

It looks as though spring has finally arrived there! I hope this will be the loveliest spring ever for you!

  6. Yes, sunscreen is important. My Dad developed melanoma, and then lymphoma. He was always outside.
The tree is beautiful! Bill is always going through or near Peoria; it really has grown!
    Take care!

  7. Well thanks for the little tour Beth.
I remember the days when we used to rub baby oil on our skin and I don't have any problem tanning. Ah to be young and stupid again!

  10. have a great day Beth, and the warning is appreciated, we have sunshine forecast and many people probably take it for granted, as we don't get much of it usually, and when we do we soak it up without taking due care. hugs aplenty xPenx

I've learned how important sunscreen is. I no longer worry about a tan. Hope your appts go well.

  14. The store I'm excited about here is a much larger Scheels under construction right now. I have always liked that store and this new one looks huge. The weather today hits nearly 80...it's absolutely wonderful. May God continue to bless you my friend.

  16. Thanks for sharing the pictures, Beth. I am in the market for a sun hat now that I will be cutting grass. My dad suffered with skin cancer terribly. He was bald most of his life and fair-skinned. They did not know the harmful effects of the sun then but we have no excuse these days.

  18. That tree is so pretty. Wish we had a Costco here. WalMart needs the competition. Pray for all good things at the doctors.

  22. We visited the new Caterpillar welcome center a couple of weeks ago and were sickened by the flooding down by the river. I have never been to Costco, but I will definitely check out the one in Peoria the next time we are up that way!

  23. I have been nosing around...first was trying to figure just where you live...what big town are you close to in IL? I live in West Central Indiana, north of Terre Haute....go shopping in Paris, Illinois fairly often.

And I am going to a dermatologist this coming Monday to see about some spots, one of which is really suspicious.
