Gravity….Bullock and Clooney

I saw this movie yesterday.  If you were to see that Sandra Bullock and George Clooney were together in a movie would you think romance.  I did?  I thought the movie was terrible.  It was 1 hour and 31 minutes of Bullock and Clooney whirling around in outer space.  It was in 3 D which was why there was so much floating around in space I guess.  My daughter loved the movie, I thought it was terribly boring.  I actually enjoyed the time I had to leave the movie for a few minutes to go to the rest room.  And that is my review of this movie.  I think it will probably appeal to the younger crowd.

Have a great weekend.  Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  3. The movie DOES sound boring. We're going to be watching "Death Becomes Her" with Goldie Hawn and Meryl Streep! That's more my speed! Enjoy the weekend!

  4. It sure does sound boring. We'll be watching an oldie, "Death Becomes Her" with Goldie Hawn and Meryl Streep this weekend. Enjoy the cooler autumn weather!

  8. That's disappointing. I have seen some movies with Bullock and some with Clooney that were funny. Hope you're having a nice weekend

  9. I can't imagine almost two hours of the same scenery. I won't be watching it. I really like the stars though. Some of the shows kids watch have so much computerize action...I hate those. Too herky-jerky. Hope you are feeling great. I think of you often. xoxo,Susie

  10. I am a Sandra Bullock fan, but we actually rarely go to the movies. If we go, it has to be a very special one.

    Enjoy your Saturday!

  11. I don't care for George Clooney so that alone would make me ditch it.

  13. Beth, you are so funny! I love your short movie review....straight and to the point! I wondered myself if the entire movie is of the two of them floating around in Outer Space....doesn't sound too exciting to me. I LOVE Sandra Bullock, but I usually only see movies on TV, so I'm okay with that! Hope you're feeling wonderful these days....and I love your new background! So pretty and autumn-ish!

  17. Beth, I would hate to remember when the last time we went to the movies. I didn't like the commercial so I knew I wouldn't like the movie. Thanks for the review. You had a picture of a couple of cute little ones in a previous Post. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

  19. Can't say I would enjoy that movie. Haven't been to see a movie in a theater for years, can watch a movie at home, not that I watch many.

  20. I don't go to movies but have seen the ads on TV and know it would never appeal to me. Good review. You are getting out and about and back to doing what you like and that's great.

  21. If the trailer is anything to go by, it is an extremely annoying film! I find George Clooney overrated at the best of times. I have a friend who would disown me for saying that!!

  28. No doubt a good review. I am not fond of space movies. I will wait for it to come on TV and then probably turn the channel:)

  29. I don't find the topic of that movie appealing...It kind of creeps me out! Also an hour an a half of 3d hurts my eyes.

  30. I was wondering about it figured if I did watch it would be on DVD only.

you made me snort about the bathroom :)

  31. I had a chuckle about the restroom being more interesting than the movie. It seemed to me when I have seen the ads for the movie, that it may be kind of slow and claustrophobic.
