with the date rice krispie cookies for the exchange tomorrow night. I had forgotten how time consuming they are to make BUT they are delicious.
We had more snow night before last and it was snowing at a pretty good clip this morning. It has stopped now and the sun is shining brightly at 33 degrees. The snow on the roof is melting and dripping down on the sidewalk. It is really a mess outside. I don’t plan to go out for a couple of days now. I am hoping the weather is good on Friday for my doctor appointment.
I hope you are all having a good day. Remember it is not too late to enter my giveaway. If you are a follower you get 1 entry for each time you comment. The drawing will be held at 5PM on Saturday Dec. 21st.
Do stay safe and be happy!!
Beth
hoping the melting doesn't cause more problems with a re-freeze.
ReplyDelete21° here 3:30 pm and not snowing but icicles are forming on the eaves. Your packaging is very nice and the treats inside are definitely going to be delicious!
ReplyDeleteThose cookies look DEEE-licious, Beth! It's been in the low 40s here today and at least the icy parking lot has become more water, than ice.....but I do hate the yuckiness when it all gets...yucky! I'm staying warm and safe...you, too!
ReplyDeleteYum the cookies look very good Beth. Som,e of you ladies out there are terrific cooks. Oatmeal cookies used to be my specialty. I don't know if I could make any today. Too long away from the cookie baking , candy making days. Please be careful when you go to the drs. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteThey look yummy! Still baking, myself, but hope to have it all done by later this week, so I can distribute them among our friends. Have a GREAT HOLIDAY!
ReplyDeletei love to bake....it does feel good when it's done!!
ReplyDeleteHave fun at your cookie exchange - have not seen a date rice krispie treat cookie.,
ReplyDeleteThose cookies look and sound delicious, I'm sure they will be a big hit at the exchange and well worth your effort. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI still have much baking to do yet. xo
Oh, the cookies look so good. Wish I was gonna be part of the exchange. You're so precious to treat your neighbors with your goodies!!!
ReplyDeleteI know those are good cookies, Beth, but more work than I like to do. :) I know what you mean about hoping for no snow on the day we have medical or dental appointments. Enjoy the cookie exchange. Bertie
ReplyDeleteThose biscuits look lovely.
ReplyDeleteAmazing your temperature because it's F. Tomorrow it's suppose to be 37degC here, but then it is summer.
Don't know how you handle being inside for a couple of days and not going out - we are used to going outside when ever we wish in any season, but that's because of where I live. Supposed I would get used to snow, it fascinates me for some reason..
Your baking all looks and sounds so good! We had more snow and now a little melting. They are forecasting a storm for the weekend. Stay safe! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteThey look super duper yummy!!
ReplyDeleteSis these look great. Think I will make something but not bake anything this year. Faster done the better!! Hope you get a break like we are the weather is warming up. Freezing rain..NO..hope not!! Take care and many prayers to you for a very good report on Friday! Xoxo
ReplyDeleteThey look very tasty, Beth! Yes, I am one of your followers.:-)
ReplyDeleteWe have sunshine here, though the temperature is chilly.
xo Nellie
It's a tiny bit chilly here. I set my heat on 66, and it comes on occasionally during the night. Willy Dunne Wooters will be here tonight so I'll have to set it on 70 or even 72. He has gone native and thinks he will freeze to death when the temps drop below 80.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
They look gorgeous!! Can't wait to see what you bring home :)
ReplyDeleteOh what pretty bags you put your goodies in.
ReplyDeleteWe got more snow again today too. It has snowed for the past 6 days now. Sure would like to see some sunshine. : )
It is 33 degrees here but a bloody hot 33°C we have had the air con going since getting up this morning.
ReplyDeleteWe have not seen snow yet just kinda of cold and rainy do you like having snow? Sounds like you are a busy lady!
ReplyDeleteThose cookies look so good. I do miss baking cookies at this time of the year. My husband has taken over making the peanut butter balls, but otherwise I buy cookies from a bakery. Not as good as home made, but better than nothing.
ReplyDeleteThey are really pretty, Beth! We got a lot of snow here as well and have been getting more. The snow removal gang has a huge job here in Montreal. :)
ReplyDeleteFestive wrapping Beth. Enjoy the time at home I always like that. Hug B
ReplyDeleteI like how you've packaged them, Beth. Very festive and no marrying of flavors. I'm snagging the recipe and writing down the ingredients.
ReplyDeleteYour weather sounds pretty much like mine, not that I have my own personal weather. Temps were about the same today. Last night was a horror show. An hour and 20 minutes to drive 4.5 miles. I love Boston but traffic, especially in bad, weather is not one of it's endearing qualities.
ReplyDeleteNow hang on while I go and get a glass of milk.
We are expecting freezing rain Thursday and Friday, ick!!! Hope the cookie exchange went well!
ReplyDeleteYum cookies are very nice Beth!
ReplyDeleteI has so hot summer time.I will be back to talk to you few days time.
best wishes Beth...have a blessed and peaceful Christmas
ReplyDeleteIt has been very wet and windy here Beth, those cookies look tasty.
ReplyDeleteGood luck and I hope all goes well on Friday.
Hugs Sheila x
I hope you have decent driving weather for the doctor tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteYour cookies look good! :)
