A new Lisa Gardner book…

and the countdown to Spring is fixed today at 59 days.

I have been out today (Hooray) to Wal*Mart and Food Depot.  I purchased a new Lisa Gardner book which I can’t wait to get started on.  I paid my fuel bill for the past month.  It had jumped over 50% and I think part of it was because of my window along with the bitter cold temps.

“In #1 New York Times bestseller Lisa Gardner’s latest pulse-pounding thriller, Detective D. D. Warren must face a new fear as a serial killer terrorizes Boston.”
I noticed that the workers have completed  a good portion of the roof on the apartment building.  When I went to get my camera there were half dozen guys on top of the roof.  By the time I got outside again there was only one guy on the roof.

Our snow is almost gone.  We are under another winter weather advisory for tomorrow for more snow and bitter cold temps.

Have a great week.  Stay safe and be happy!!

  2. Thank goodness we can pre-pay our seasonal propane before the season starts at a very good discount. And you would not believe how easy it is to save on the electric bill without having a washer, drier, dishwasher or bathtub. How does $57 sound for a full month in the winter? 2 computers. two TVs. Oven baking often. Microwave warming often.

  5. Great that you were able to be out and about this morning, Beth! Those workmen must have been camera shy.:-) We have an interesting forecast here for overnight and the week ahead. Today, our temperature is already above 50 degrees! It's hard to believe snow flurries may occur overnight!

  8. Sounds like you will be getting the weather that we have today. Yesterday it was in the 40's. Today it is snowing, the wind is blowing and temps are to go below zeros tonight.
Glad you got out today as you will want to stay in tomorrow, stay warm and read your new book.

  10. Twin, we have a lot of snow too but it is shallow and no threat. Bitter cold but not like your bitter cold. This has been a winter to remember even here. xoxoxo

I am at my dads for a sleep, looking at the sea - the view from my father's lounge...well just about every room :) Beautiful evening.

  14. Hi Beth, wish you could speed that calendar up! That looks like a good book. I'll have to pick up one of her books again. Sometimes I get into a rut with the same old kinds of books and same authors. i enjoy them, but it's good to break out of the routine now and then.
