Thank you….

for your prayers.  There has been no diagnosis for Marc yet.  He remains in the hospital.   My heart aches for my sister who has gone through so much lately, first her daughter being so ill and now her granddaughter’s husband!.  Thank you all for continued prayer for Rae’s family.

And now back to my one daily complaint.  The weather!  We have had a lot of major melting and some streets in my city were flooded a few days ago.  South Pekin has many flooded streets.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Pekin,_Illinois

It will be much colder next week.  But spring is only 25 days away.

Have a great weekend.  Stay safe and be happy!!

  1. I hope they can figure out what is going on with Marc soon. Poor family has had their share!

I was worried about flooding with all the snow we have had this year. We are pretty safe out where we are but our East River can get bad-but hasn't flooded in about 30+ years. We'll see this year. xo Diana

  2. I am already praying for a slow melt with all this snow. The rain coming through yesterday caused flooding west of us.

So sorry about Marc. Praying that the docs will discover the trouble asap. Praying for calm and courage for all concerned. Keep looking up!

  7. The flooding looks awful. I think they can just cross of the "one way" on the sign and leave the "do not enter".
I'm hoping and praying they find the cause of Marc's illness soon.
    Have a great day.

  27. Oh my, it's not good when the snow melts, the water from it has to have somewhere to go...so to the flats.
Do hope the Dr.'s find out what is wrong there, but tests take time as you know.
