for your prayers. There has been no diagnosis for Marc yet. He remains in the hospital. My heart aches for my sister who has gone through so much lately, first her daughter being so ill and now her granddaughter’s husband!. Thank you all for continued prayer for Rae’s family.
And now back to my one daily complaint. The weather! We have had a lot of major melting and some streets in my city were flooded a few days ago. South Pekin has many flooded streets. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Pekin,_Illinois

Have a great weekend. Stay safe and be happy!!
Beth
I hope they can figure out what is going on with Marc soon. Poor family has had their share!
ReplyDeleteI was worried about flooding with all the snow we have had this year. We are pretty safe out where we are but our East River can get bad-but hasn't flooded in about 30+ years. We'll see this year. xo Diana
I am already praying for a slow melt with all this snow. The rain coming through yesterday caused flooding west of us.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about Marc. Praying that the docs will discover the trouble asap. Praying for calm and courage for all concerned. Keep looking up!
Sorry to hear they can't find a reason for his illness. I sure hope they can find one soon. I fear our flooding will be epic with all the snow we have had too. If not one thing it's another. Prayers for you and yours always.. XoXo

ReplyDeleteThe flooding looks awful. I think they can just cross of the "one way" on the sign and leave the "do not enter".
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping and praying they find the cause of Marc's illness soon.
Have a great day.
Very sad to hear this Beth, I do hope they sort Marc's health problems very soon. It has been a terrible Winter here also Beth, and many places like the picture here, but not by snow melt. Raining in buckets .

ReplyDeleteAll I can do is echo what everybody else has said Beth.
ReplyDeleteLuckily there was no flooding around here. Just wet highways. I'm through my second gallon of windshield wash in two weeks.
WoW Beth, that's a lot of water, be careful!!
ReplyDeleteHi Beth so sorry to hear about Rae's family will keep them in my prayers. Glad to see you are weathering the winter and spring is only a short time away for you now. It has been bloody hot here in the desert for the past 6 weeks. I am still hoping for some rain here and cooler temps.
ReplyDeleteHAVOC . . . that is what this darn weather has been doing for weeks. It is time for a change . . . don't you think! I dread to think what will happen when we start to melt . . . YIKES!
ReplyDeleteWow, water can do so much damage. Fast spring melts are serious. We know!
ReplyDeleteSure hope your family health issues will improve soon.

ReplyDeleteI am so very sorry to hear this Beth. Your family will be lifted in our prayers. There always seems to be such problems with our weather recently. Thinking good thoughts for you!
ReplyDeleteI do hope and pray for healing to take place and Marc's health issues resolved real soon.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like this Spring will have alot of flooding in many areas with.all the snow we have had . I hope and pray I am wrong.
Wow! 25 days to go until it is officially Spring. That will be wonderful as this winter has been long and harsh in so many ways.
Take care Beth.
Stay warm and safe, Beth. We are getting the same weather here in Montreal.
ReplyDeleteI have never been in a flood and hope I never am.
ReplyDeleteOh my, it's not good when the snow melts, the water from it has to have somewhere to go...so to the flats.
ReplyDeleteDo hope the Dr.'s find out what is wrong there, but tests take time as you know.
Prayers! I hope they diagnose him soon!
ReplyDeleteNow flooding. Goodness! Summer is looking darn good, eh?
