More snow…

and bitter cold but what else is new.  I am so expecting it.  My car is a giant snowball again and I will have to try and get it cleaned off when the snow is all finished.  The countdown till Spring is hanging in there at 17 days.  Next Sunday Daylight Savings Time begins.  I am not looking forward to that at all.  I will take my daylight in the morning instead of evening.

I am reading a new Lisa Jackson book that I ordered from Amazon titled Memories.  Actually it is two of her books from the late 1990s.  Have you noticed that the really popular authors are releasing a lot of their earlier works at the price of their new books?  I don’t remember reading this one before so I am enjoying it.

Lisa Jackson Memories

A HUSBAND TO REMEMBER

“Nikki Carrothers wakes in an island hospital with no memory of her past, how she got there or of Trent McKenzie—the man claiming to be her husband. Though she's undeniably attracted to him, Nikki's not sure he can be trusted. Even as her memory returns, he's the one piece of the puzzle that remains a mystery.”

NEW YEAR'S DADDY

“Veronica Walsh is haunted by the memory of her late husband, having lost him years ago in a ski accident. Now she focuses solely on her daughter, Amy, certain that no man could ever fill the void in her broken heart—until Travis Keegan comes along.”

All material is from www.amazon.com.

Have a peaceful Sunday.  stay safe and be happy!

  6. this time change is always the hard one - losing an hour just messes me up. :)

  7. Well I would prefer the sunlight in the morning as it would make my drive less traumatic at 5 a.m. The same goes for my late shift. I am waiting for daylight savings time in the worst way and this is the worst way.

  9. Good morning Beth, Why can't they just change it a half hour and leave it alone all the time instead of going back and forth. I can't wait for Spring with the bitter cold and snow this morning. We didn't get as much as they thought we were going to get. They say it is not over yet. To the south this morning not that far they were getting freezing rain on top of snow. The salt won't work that good because of the bitter cold. I have read the first book that you are reading and really enjoyed it. I do that when I am not embroidering. Have a wonderful day. Stay warm and safe. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

  11. Shoveling, books and Netflix...that's my new mantra. I'm reading the Game of Thrones books...truly great! We got 24" or so of snow and have been spending a large part of the day shoveling out. It's now 15 below zero but I see high forties by Tuesday...there's hope!

  17. Awe, hope spring comes in soon and I'm with you on the time change. I like my morning daylight and in the summer months it doesn't matter cause the days are long enough and there's plenty of daylight. Blessings!!

You certainly are having an awful go there.
Can't imagine all that snow day after day...never could. Probably have to live where there is snow to understand what it's like.
