These photos were taken in Boyd County Kentucky  in April 2004.  I love Kentucky!  I have always thought it was the most beautiful state in the USA!

  6. There are few places more beautiful than Kentucky!! And I could almost smell those gorgeous lilacs. I'm still waiting for ours to bloom.

  8. I've never been there...my mother wanted to take a trip thru there and she got sick before we could do it. I am so sorry we didn't go sooner.

  13. My Mom lives in Louisville and my older son and I might be going out there in August to help her celebrate her 98th birthday! Would love to see some of that countryside!

  15. Kentucky must surely be beautiful if that photo is any indication. Course, I visit Peggy often at Daylily and she shares her home in Kentucky so well. From her I learned that that there hill is called a "knob" in Kentucky.
