I went with my daughter to get flowers for my planter this morning and to put around the lamp post. A big wind came up before we were able to get the planting done. Hopefully tomorrow.
Two of the guys are working on the roof of the building across the drive from me. No one is parking in the drive anymore. I think they are scared of this old lady driver. LOL I do hope they get finished before the cold front comes through today bringing storms with it.
They are having to be careful of their mess today because I see that Jerry has parked his truck back there, I think we are all getting tired of the constant mess around here. We were under severe storm warning yesterday and again for today. It made me really nervous.
Have a wonderful week. Stay safe and be happy!!
Beth
we have storm and flash flood warnings here in texas, too. a big system moving across again. be safe!
ReplyDeleteWow, you were out early! Stay safe and hope those guys finish up their job real soon. Linda@Wetcreek Blog
ReplyDeleteAt least, you were able to finish your errands before the storm hits. Take care and be safe.
ReplyDeleteThat is stormy. Stay safe, dear Beth.
ReplyDeleteStormy with building stuff and tools around is not a great mix. Praying that these spring storms dissipate and come to naught.
ReplyDeleteHope they get done working before the bad weather gets there.
ReplyDeleteWishing I could send you some of the more gentle spring weather we are having here in the UK right now - it must be pretty scary there. Stay safe.
ReplyDeletei love spring, i love planting my garden!! we are getting storms as well!!
ReplyDeleteBeth, It was rockin' and rollin' around here last night too. Rained hard. Today has bene decent. Right now the sun is out but so is the wind...tthat gets tiresome. Hope you can get your flowers out tomorrow. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteHi Beth, Hope your winds die down soon and you get your plants in place. Have a good week. Hugs Nita.
ReplyDeletemy gosh that man on the roof is in a scary position!!! I hope you are clear from the storms, no wonder you are fearful, after last year!!! Stay safe,
ReplyDeleteWe're getting those storms too - coming in a line right from your area. So far, nothing severe, but we have had enough rain for a few days. More coming tonight, along with more storms. Tis the season I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteAfter what you went through last year, I bet storms do cause you to worry. We had a hail storm that did a lot of damage in the next town over, but it missed us. All we got was rain.
ReplyDeleteI hope everything is OK with you. I saw the rough weather that is happening in your part of the country. We have had three great days in a row, yesterday being the capper. Check out my pics.
ReplyDeleteStormy Monday is a favorite song of mine.
Stormy here too. Hope sunny days are ahead. Hugs!!
ReplyDeleteNeed to be careful from the strong wind. Making roof repairing is a great task and need to be careful in it!
ReplyDeleteHope you get through the stormy spring weather OK. I'm with you - severe weather warnings make me nervous too (part of the reason we moved to Arizona). Hope your week goes well!
ReplyDeleteWe had a huge thunderstorm on Sunday. We have a lot of thunderstorms in Florida, but not many tornado watches or warnings. Or maybe I just don't know about the tornadoes because I don't watch the news. Is ignorance bliss?
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I am the roof workers want to be done, before any more bad weather comes. It will be pretty with your new flowers planted.. Take care and I wish you sunny days ahead..
ReplyDeleteWas quite stormy here yesterday but we came through just fine. I think a little calm in the weather woud be greatly appreciated.
ReplyDeleteIt got very bad here Monday night! I am sure it did in many places. It was a huge storm!
ReplyDeleteIt's Tuesday here in UK Beth, so I'm a day behind, I do hope you and all the roof workers got through the storm unscathed. and it's calmer now.
ReplyDeleteI have nothing my mind is blank but I came and read and left
ReplyDeleteHi Beth sorry to hear this haven't been visiting of late. I hope that storm passed you by. Had a few lovely days here across the Pond.
