All gone….

My company has started home.  It was a very nice weekend.  I didn’t wear myself out cooking like I normally do.  Kentucky fried chicken for lunch and Papa Murphy pizza for supper.  Toast and orange juice for breakfast.

I am doing laundry this morning and when I get done with that I am going to sit down and relax for the rest of the day.

The above photos were taken last Friday while I was visiting the Cancer Clinic for my regular appointment.  At those visits I see my oncologist and my ENT surgeon.  The grounds and garden there is so beautiful.  I purchased a T-shirt while I was there.

The T is black.  I love the saying on the front.  The printing is white embroidery  and the ribbon is colored beads.

Have a peaceful Sunday!  Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  1. Hi Beth, Pleased you had a good time. I pray too that a cure of cancer is soon found, it is affecting my family and friends significantly at the moment and has done in the past too. I am pleased that your reports are good and pray you will continue to heal and become stronger. Hugs Nita

  10. Hi Beth!
I'm so glad to hear you had a wonderful time with your family. Taking it easy on the cooking is the only way to go these days. It's so much easier to actually enjoy your company when you're not worrying about meals all the time.

St. Francis was one of my aunt's favorite saints. She always celebrated his feast day in October:)

Love that tee shirt, Beth. I should look into getting my daughter an inspiring Tee like that. She too is doing wonderfully, thank God:)

Thank you so much for sharing, Beth. Wishing you a joyous and relaxing day:)

  12. Awesome shirt. I assume proceeds go toward cancer research, which is a big bonus! I feel that if I'm visiting someone, I'd rather they order in than spend all weekend cooking. Plus, pizza rocks!

  17. Those relaxing kinds of meals can be a lot of fun! I'm sure that your guests were happy to visit and have some goodies to eat even if you didn't slave in a hot kitchen. I like your t-shirt, but I'm wondering if you might also like the red t-shirt my grand is sporting today? =D

  19. I like the t-shirt. OSF hosptial took good care of me 3 years ago when I broke both of my ankles falling down the stairs while babysitting with my Grands.
