Friday…

How many of you will admit to doing this?  I plead guilty.  I do have a big bowl of candy all ready for the trick or treaters.  Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers, Milky Way, etc.  My favorites are Butterfingers and Baby Ruth. I haven’t purchased them yet but I still have plenty of time.  Winking smile

I wasn’t up quite so early today.  I do have a load of laundry done and I still have another load to do.  I will wait a day or two for that one.  It is very cold today, winter coat weather.  It is 37 right now but the temp was 26 when I got up this morning.

Have a great weekend.  It is important that you make every effort to be happy.  You are the one in charge of your well being.

Red heart  Beth

  1. I agree, lets be happy. We don't really get trick or treaters out where I am, my husband volunteers with his Kiwanis Club at a big Halloween affair for the kids on the football field in town.

  3. Hi Beth,

I have to say I will be glad when it is november the 1st, I dont and never have felt comfortable with Hallowen - dont like trick or treat really because some kids can frighten people especially older people. Our church is having a hero's party Zac is going as Ben 10 and Callum as a surgeon. It feels very oppresive tonight I have a headache and I dont know if it is because it is very low cloud or because of the virus I have had, or just the season. My connection is up and down like a yoyo, but in spite of all I am trying to be HAPPY! hugs - Nita

  4. No trick or treaters here either and I can't be trusted with candy I like. I always used to but stuff I didn't care for..the sour stuff kids always love..you might have thought I'd given them a piece of gold.

  5. I got the winter coat on today too.. spring one wayyyy too thin..it will be cold here tonight and we get home after dark. Stopped buying candy for kids years ago.. they all go to parties around here. Sis gave me some snickers and I relished every bite. Mom can’t have chocolate and that is one thing she loved. She got used to it and now she just wants cookies so I will try to make her cookies tomorrow. Stay well and warm : )

  6. I usually buy the candy I like to pass out in hopes of having it left over, LOL, but this year I'm watching my weight so I asked son what his favorite candy was and will get that to pass out (which is not necessarily my favorite candy so it is a good thing!)

brrr with the weather but I guess it is that time of year! stay warm!

  7. Like the old song...Don't worry, be happy! That's easier said than done, right?

Love all your trick or treat candy, it wouldn't last long around here.

  8. I used to, before the kids stopped coming to our street and Frankie put me on the bird seed and tree bark diet.

Note to self: take several changes of costume for repeat visits to Beth Marie's house. She's got all the good stuff!

  10. Well I'm happy. Happy that I'm home from work. I guess my favorite candy bars would be Hershey bar with almonds then a Snickers bar. Oh and the bar on the corner or as some would say around here "the conah". Only kidding there are no bars in my city except in restaurants.
