over the hill day, rant day, whatever you want to call it the week is half over. I was up this morning at 5 after a restless night. My niece came and picked me up and we went to the hospital for me to have lab. I am getting tired of that and I hope that is it for awhile. Afterwards we went to Bob Evans for breakfast. It is a bright sunny chilly morning but it was still very dark when I first went out this morning. It will soon be the time to change back to standard time. I do wish they would leave it one way or the other.
My brother and sis in law went on a cruise last month that left out of Los Angeles to Mexico. I received a DVD yesterday from them. The following pictures were taken through the port in a submarine (1/2) about 10 or so feet down.
They will be leaving again soon for a cruise to the Cayman Islands. I am not the least bit envious, no I am not.
I have started another load of laundry that I need to go check on. Catch ‘ya all later.
Beth
No cruises for me, thank you very much. I was one of those odd Navy brats who got sea sick as soon as the lines were cast off and stayed sick until they tied up at the pier again. I think my dad thought I was a Dramamine junkie but the other folks standing in line at sick bay would disagree. At least I wasn't alone in my misery!!
ReplyDeleteLovely and colourful photo's Beth, and not at all envious.. hmm? I believe you ;-)
ReplyDeleteMe too, with the laundry, and I hope the texts mean you've got the 'all clear'.

Love those pictures, they are so neat. It reminds me of when my daughter and I were in Hawaii and rode in a submarine too. I've never been on a cruise though but I'd sure love too.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day
I'm with you on leaving the time one way or the other. The pictures are lovely. Sometimes I think I would like a cruise and then sometimes not. Guess I'm just weird. lol
ReplyDeleteMust have been fun to see fish down below, nice photos. I used to want to go on a cruise, but too much sickness from food, it seams.
ReplyDeleteVery nice pics. Reminds me of when my wife and I were in Maui 12 years ago and went on a tour boat where you could go down stairs and see under the water like that. Pretty neat.
ReplyDeleteHi Beth, I too would rant if I had to tests .
ReplyDeleteI hate them. My Hubbys Mom fell twice in a few days. She is 78 and has been doing so well. Were all so worried. I hope they keep her in hospital today.
Love Love that tree .Took my breath away. The color is amazing.
Can you imagine going in a Sub. Wow. I sure would never.
Lovely blog Beth.
I can't imagine going down in a sub either. I would love the opportunity though.
ReplyDeleteThose are glorious pictures and I'm glad you posted them.
Twin..join me at Ruby's and some salmon..whatyya say?
(((HUGS)))
Oh I've never taken a cruise much less underwater. Want to though. By the way I'm still doing nothing.
ReplyDeleteI hope that's the last of tests. Ya know hubby could not do the stress thing so instead they gave him the 10 minute injection. Sorry you had to go through the treadmill an all. I love to fly but cruise ships? I dunno. Nice fish.
ReplyDeletePaul is still doin nuttin?
Oh the fish are great Beth, but the pic's I love is your tree up the top, it just beautiful with all it colour
ReplyDeleteTake care
Sue
Now that I've been in Arica for as long as I have I think I'll certainly let someone else have their cruise while I consider my next adventure to be going home. Last night we had meetings next to a Mosque and then had to go through two checkpoints with soldiers and police with AK-47s...that's about enough adventure for me for a bit thank you very much! Wonderful picture none the less my friend. God bless and keep you.
ReplyDeleteHi Beth,
ReplyDeleteSee it is all change again, this time on messenger, if you have a webcam (I do) you are able to send videos, even if the other person is off line, it is also sent in an email. so might surprise you one day. hugs - Nita
Love the ocean to look at but being on it.. UH UH...no cruises for this gal..glad the tests are over for now.. Hope things are all well there..you deserve a break! : )
ReplyDeleteI live less than 25 miles from the port in San Pedro where the cruise ships dock. My wife and I have been on several cruises and we are looking forward to a 40th anniversary cruise to Hawaii in about a year and a half. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh Beth those pictures are lovely so pretty. The clocks go back soon as you said yes I to wish they would leave alone. Hugs Sheila x
ReplyDeleteHave you ever considered taking a cruise? You and your sister should check into some nice warm destination. I'm thinking you'd love it!
ReplyDeleteNot jealous? you might not be Beth, but I am, oh for a lovely warm snooze on a deck with nothing to do, as long as Tango was with me of course, and not forgetting my laptop,
ReplyDeleteI hope the tests come out OK. ANd I love the photos of the fish, so many of them and so colourful, the tree at the top is not half bad either. It's awful with the dark morning and as you say, why don't they just stop messing with time. an Indian saying is cutting the bottom offf a blanket and stitching it to the top, doesn't make the blanket any longer.
Oh I just love this Beth. The music with all the orange background then those amazing fish. Just beautiful.. Hugs Carrie
ReplyDeleteHi Beth,
ReplyDeleteSo happy to find you via Caroldee's blog. Your sight is beautiful.
Seems very strange to be displaced like this after many years on msn, but I'll get used to it no doubt. I have a blog here for recipes that I started years ago and have not posted there in a very long time, but I think I'll check it out.
Betty
I love cruises!! Very relaxing and yet, exciting. Wonderful photos!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice rest of the week
