Happy Thanksgiving…
Are the pumpkin pies ready? Is the turkey cooked? Cranberry sauce anyone? I fixed a Thanksgiving meal for my daughter and son in law last weekend. Tomorrow I am going with them to my SIL’s brother’s house for Thanksgiving dinner. All I have to take is hot rolls. I can do that.
Things I have to be thankful for:
1. My family
2. My friends (to include all of my wonderful blog family)
3. My health
4. Last but not least and what sustains me and keeps me going, My faith in God.
I have many more things I am thankful for. Each day I am able to get out of bed I thank God. I am so thankful for our military troops keeping our great country free. On a frivolous note I am thankful that Bristol did not win on DWTS last night. What a travesty that has been.I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
LOL, as I was reading through your post, I was thinking how yes, I was so thankful for these same things.....and then I got to DWTS. HAHAHAHAHA, I'm with you! Now she's sweet as she can be, but she never should have been even close to the finals. My favorites were Jennifer (and I am thrilled she won) and Brandi, who never should have been voted off a couple of weeks ago. Stupid shows, but they reel us all in every time, lol. :D Oh, darn, I forgot the rolls for dinner. BIG hug to you xoxoxo
I agree I am also very grateful this year. Mom has been with us another year now. I am so grateful for the support from my cyber sisters and blog family. Hope you have a great day with your family.
Hi Beth, Yes I have a lot to be thankful for too, you mentioned quite a few of them. Thank you for this encouraging upbeat blog and a very happy thanksgiving to you and your family. Hugs Nita
I had to pass on a Happy Thanksgiving wish to you dear Beth! I can smell good things cooking upstairs but that's only the garnish on a wonderful day thanks to friends like you! Bless you my friend!
