I am remembering our veterans today with heartfelt thanks to all of those men and women who unselfishly fought for our country in the past and the ones who are involved in the turmoil of our world today. May God Bless them all. A special thanks to my brothers who spent several tours of duty in ‘Nam, to my Jim for his time spent in Korea and to all of my friends and relatives who served us in the military. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Well said Beth, Here in England, we were asked to stop whatever we were doing at 11 a.m. and observe the 2 minute silence. Amanda and myself were in a Tesco Cafe, everybody staff included seemed to show total lack of respect and just carried on with what they were doing. I felt a sense of disbelief and disgust.
ReplyDeleteSo, so touching, Beth. Yes, I agree that it's important to remember and acknowledge these wonderful and selfless people that keep our country and our freedoms safe. I can't even imagine where we'd all be without them. God bless our service men and women on this day and every day.
