The Lincoln Lawyer Review

Of course you all know by now that I am madly in love with Matthew McConaughey  since I saw him in ‘We Are Marshall.’  Today I went with my daughter to see ‘The Lincoln Lawyer.’  This is an excellent movie.  I give it 2 thumbs up and 4 stars.

The Lincoln Lawyer trailer...

It is a beautiful bright sunshiny day at 52 degrees.  The countdown to Spring right this very minute is 1 day, 5 hours, 53 minutes and 18 seconds.

I have the results from my ultrasound.  I have to go to the hospital one day next week to have a biopsy done.  I have had this particular biopsy done before and it is not pleasant at all.  I would even go so far as to say it hurts!  But then I am here to mention it and for that I am thankful.

Not much else to mention today.  I did want to get some cleaning done but I went to the movies instead.  100 years from now it won’t make much difference.  I hope you are all having a good weekend.  Stay safe and be happy!

Red heart  Beth

  1. Howdy Twin. Glad you went to the movies. I just never seem to get there either with anyone or without. When it's suggested, I always opt out. I just don't do the movie thang I guess. Unless it's the first 3 Spiderman movies with Tobey Maguire. And I am a Star Trek fan. So I always make it to them. Other than The Lake House..that's it. Call me a dullard. :-)

  2. @ for Twin, this is the first movie I have been to in almost a year. I am not a movie person either. I am happiest just sitting in my recliner and watching a movie on TV.

  4. Going to the movie instead of cleaning was a great idea! As you said, 100 years from now it won't make much difference.
I haven't been to a movie in so long...I don't even remember the last time. I'd much rather sit in my cushy chair and read a book.

  5. I can't remember the last time \i went to the movies, I think it was to see The Towering Inferno' so that gives you some idea, but it would be a good place to go instead of cleaning. LOL thanks for visiting my blog, you were the only one!!!!I don't know where all my contacts have gone. sob. It's not that I'm brave walking in the rain Beth, it's a case of having to, as the dogs don't 'walk' themselves. ;-)I've already got one plant on the window ledge, and no doubt I'll find more.

  10. Hi there Beth, I do hope you sail through the biopsy without feeling any pain ... Try to drift away thinking of JD ( or Matthew ) instead maybe? It would work for me.(I think!!) Many thanks for the update news on Pirates 4, something I've been keeping my eye on for a while... Glad you enjoyed your film, I needn't tell you that the last one I went to see in a cinema was a POTC, one track minded I seem to be. ;-)
take care my friend and best wishes... from Her Maj and me...xx

  11. The last time I went to a move was to see Public Enemy and that was mostly because it was filmed here in Wi. and I've been to the places where they were filming. It was about John Dillenger. I do love Matthew McConaughey too and his smile is like no one else's. I loved him in John Grisham's movie A Time to Kill and it was an excellent movie.
Sorry you have to have a biopsy and hope and pray it comes back clean!

  12. So glad you were able to go to the movies and see this one in particular. I'm going to have to wait for it to come out on DVD and get it through NetFlix. Sounds like a winner, though. Hey, the movies are way more fun than house cleaning. Good choice! Hope your biopsy goes without a hitch and doesn't hurt so much. Keeping only good thoughts for you on this one.

  13. Mathew MaConayghey is such a talented actor. Have been wondering if it was a good movie, glad for the review. Don't go to the movies often either but this may be one I may have to see.
