Another Tuesday, Monday…

I really don’t like a holiday on Monday.  My whole week starts off on the wrong foot.

I have been on the go this morning, out to the bank and paying bills.  It is that time of the month again.  And, I have to confess that I am totally wound up in the Casey Anthony trial.  Lucky for Blagojevich, who is in the middle of his second trial.  I am too busy with this other trial to give much thought to old Blago,   Smile with tongue out  other than hoping he is found guilty on all counts this time.  Plus the Anthony trial is being shown live on cable and the Blago trial is not.

Summer has started with a vengeance, the heat and humidity were oppressive yesterday and it is starting out to be the same today.  The air conditioner is going full force.

Just checking in today, nothing much new going on here.  I hope you all are having a good week.  Stay safe, and be happy!!

  1. I would like to watch that trial instead of sponge bob lol. I can't believe what I've heard of the defense tho saying she drowned and trying to blame the parents. I watched the entire OJ trial too and you can get hooked on them.
Try to stay cool. We have a nice breeze at least.

  2. Our weather guessers are saying we'll be hot, hazy and humid for the next 2 weeks or so! Naturally, the only break in sight will arrive while we're not here but I won't care because I'll be on the beach!

When I was in civil service I loved Monday holidays because they always meant a paid holiday off and a 3 day weekend. Now that I'm retired every day is Saturday for me and I rarely know what day of the week it actually is. Care to guess how many times I've checked the mail box on days when the mailman doesn't deliver?

  5. I'm watching trial on and off, just trying to keep up without watching it all day! Very hot here today and we are suppose to get some rain but haven't seen it yet. Our air is now on also.

  6. I also don't want to watch the trial. It really upsets me that anyone can do such a thing to a little baby like that.

  7. You must have taken our summer...it never arrived here...cold, rainy and lots of flooding here marks the start of June it seems. As to Blago...what a waste of time...it reminds me of the the circus all big cases are these days with so many from OJ to Lindsy Lohan...what a bore.

  10. Casey Anthony is a classic sociopath, thief, pathological liar, and she killed her daughter so she could continue to party. When I look into her eyes, I see the face of evil. And because she has ABSOLUTELY NO DEFENCE, she has now thrown her father under the bus, saying that she's innocent because he molested her in the past. She's getting neither Mother-of-the-Year or Daughter-of-the-Year in any case. I hope the jury doesn't fall for her histrionics, because she's a total faker.
    Justice for Caylee Marie!

  11. The average person could not possibly understand the act that Casey committed. Nor could the average person grasp how she could kill her daughter and then show no remorse for having done it. To the common mind of society, the act of killing your own daughter, then dumping her body into a wooded area, encased only in garbage bags, is illogical. We just have to accept that some people can do such things and act just as Casey is acting now. When such persons carry out such heinous acts, they deserve NOTHING... no compassion... no sympathy... no empathy.... they will get NOTHING from me but a wish that they should feel and experience the horror they inflicted on their victim. An eye for an eye....
