or not to comment, that is the question. I have tried guys and if you haven’t received a comment from me on your last couple of posts, it is not because I haven’t tried. IE refuses to let me post a comment on Blogger. Firefox part of the time and Chrome once in awhile. I have tried several times on each post.
Another hot day in the heart of Illinois. I have been to Kroger this morning for milk and bananas which ended up being a few sacks full. Don’tcha just love it in the stores when you are walking down the refrigerated case aisles and the lights come on in the cases as you approach them and go off as you pass them? I could use lights like that.
I think I have picked up a bug somewhere and have been doing some coughing and generally feel yucky. I have to tough out anything like this because I am allergic to most antibiotics. So this means I am going to have to lounge around most of the day. As for the Anthony trial, I am waiting to see the defendant get her just desserts.
I am off now to fix me some hot tea with honey. You all stay safe and be happy!!
I have had the same problem on commenting. I found a website where Blogger is having problems with this and they are trying to fix it. In the comment section, if you select your profile as Name/URL and put your blog website, it will let them go through. It's weird. By the way, I did get your comment on my kitchen gadgets.Thanks.

I hope the bug goes on it's sweet way Beth, and leaves you in peace. Hot tea and honey sounds just the ticket. WE could do with those lights in our homes, so's when we enter a leave a room they turn on and off, to be much greener (and save on our electricity bills too) ... ReplyDeleteHey Beth, I am having the same problem with IE, but I find that Google Chrome works great. That's amazing that it only works now and then for you. Keep your spirits up and drink lots of fluids for your bug, and try to be well.

Sorry to hear about the comment trouble. I've not had that issue but that may be because I'm using Safari right now...tired of the issues with the other browsers I've used so that's what I'm using for now. It's not been all that hot for us...seventies actually. I hope you get to feeling better soon my friend. Blessings to you...and that includes health!

I am allergic to any cillians (penicilin) and other antibiotics too BUT predisone (steroid) is my only hope. Please go to doctor to catch it early. I didn't and it still hangs on since November.
ReplyDeleteHot today here too. I could stand in front of one of those refridgerated coolers with door open ah long time to feel good. It would git irritating if lights went on where ever I walked. I like to sneak up on where I go ;-)

Hi Beth I hope by the time you read this if you can, that your bug didn't materialize and you're Ok.
ReplyDeleteI don't have problems with Chrome, but IE is useless on my computer, it continually freezes. BUT sometimes I'm sure I've posted a comment to someone and when I look to see if there's feedback it's not there, I wish they had the same format here as in WP and gives a box for replies.
Hope you get over the bug swiftly. We can't take many cold remedies so it's usually push the fluids, especially chicken soup and that often does the trick.
ReplyDeleteI stopped using IE long ago because it's practically useless and wish I could figure out how to uninstall it because it's just wasting hard drive space. Only rare glitches with Firefox or Chrome (I use both) and I've a feeling the problem is with Blogger, not the browser.
Sure hope your 'bug' doesn't stay around. It's hot here, too...been right around 90 all week with lots of sunshine. The guys with hay to put up have sure been appreciating it...lots of hay being baled in the area.

I've seen where others are having the same problem. One friend said if the people are using the pop-up window for comments, it seems to work the best. Don't know if it's true or not.

ReplyDeleteYou know something, I tried leaving comments the other day, but they wouldn`t post. With my recent luck, I just thought that it was me. I am kind of relieved to hear that others may have been experiencing the same issue. Uuugh!
