GUILTY!! GUILTY!! GUILTY!!

Chicago (CNN) -- Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich was convicted Monday on 17 of the 20 public corruption charges against him.

Finally!  Now perhaps Blago will have to get a haircut.

Made my day!

  1. Wasn't that the same verdict as the first time around? Glad they got it right again.

  2. I heard that on the evening news tonight. I also heard that they found hs hair guilty of impersonating a hedge hog.

  4. And he had the audacity to act shocked about the verdict!! OH, I hope he can't appeal, or that if he does it'll be denied.

  6. Let's hope he gets more than a slap on the wrist, a book deal and a paid retirement at our expense!

  7. He was shocked? Isn't that funny. I feel for the kids in the family. These guys never think about what others have to deal with.

  8. Wonder if he'll get sent to one of those country club prisons. When I was in missile school at Vandenberg AFB, California we passed the Lompoc Minimum Security Facility just outside the main gate each day as we were being bussed out to the hills to help fight wildfires. While we were living on bologna and cheese sandwiches and worrying about burning to death in a flash over some of the Watergate crooks sentenced there were playing tennis!

(¸.•´ (¸.•` ¤ The message Illinois Lawmakers will learn from this is not to avoid being corrupt. The message they will learn is don't conduct your corrupt dealings over the phone. Keep it all in person. Tisk Tisk Tisk. This is such a shame. Too bad that Americans can no longer trust most of their state officials, the mainstream media or our federal officials. Who's left?
