Still coughing…

a lot.  Otherwise I am feeling better.  I called the doctor’s office to see if I could get a prescription cough syrup called in.  I am waiting to hear the answer on that.  The over the counter cough syrup I have is like drinking water. doesn’t help a bit.

It is miserably hot today, to be in the mid to upper 90s.  The same predicted for all week.  The intense heat is not for me.
Smile with tongue out
That is all for my update.  I hope to feel well in a few days as my daughter’s co-worker sent me 2 sacks of rhubarb a few days ago.  I need energy to fix it.

I hope you are all having a great week.

Red heart  Beth

  2. Dear Beth, want you to be good from cough.
Of course I coughed in the near 1 month, no cough syrup helped
but got expectorant taking in water. It helped, but took his time.
Here we have thunder and sweltering heat.
Wishing you a really nice day!
    Hugs

  4. Frankie has been battling a stubborn cough for over a month. Her doctor says it's seasonal allergies and has tried several OTC and prescription meds but choices are limited because of possible interaction with her regular meds. She is improving but it's a slow process. At least I know where to get a cough drop when I need one.

Hope you get over it soon.

  5. Coughing can sure take the energy out of a person. Feel better dear. It seems by the weather map heat is everywhere! One for the books I say. I feel sorry for humans and animals in this heat. Stay cool.

  6. Hi Beth,

Hope you continue to get better. If your virus is anything like the one we have here, the cough lingers for a long time.

  7. I'd gladly trade you. After our brush with a tornado last night we are at 53 degrees. Our winters are so brutal and long that any warmth I can get I rejoice. Glad you're feeling better. I've never had a bit of luck with cough syrups of any kind...hope you do better than I with such things.

  8. We had a brush with a tornado last night...sirens blaring...we watched the funnel from our house...it was danger close but didn't do anything except leave us with cold and endless rain yet again...only 53 here. I am glad you're feeling better. I never have success with cough syrup whether it's over the counter or prescription. Hope it works for you. Have a blessed day.

  11. I love strawberry rubarb pie, but I never had the cake.
I had that affliction that you have two years in a row during the late Spring early summer thing. I thought I'd cough my lungs out. You may remember wall the whining I did on Spaces. Like Joe, no cough medicine ever helped me..not ever.
Twin, I hope tomorrow morning finds you feeling 100% better. xoxox
