The Dinette Set ~ Julie Larson ~

img045

I have said so many times before that I love the Dinette Set.  I actually think Burl and Joy might  be relatives of mine. Smile with tongue out

We are under an ’extreme heat advisory from 7 AM tomorrow until 7 PM on Friday so I will be sticking pretty much close to home and hitting the grocery stores as early as possible.

I hope you all have a really good weekend.  Stay safe and be happy!!

Red heart  Beth

  2. I've heard it's going to be really hot for us too however I'm not sure how it will effect us directly sine we are far out of town at a wedding today. Tomorrow the long drive home and I've heard it will be 100 degrees...I didn't think we'd ever see that kind of heat again after the winter we had.

  3. It has been unusually cool the past couple of days and we've had intermittent rain showers since last night. The weather guessers say we'll have one more day of this the it's back in the broiler for at least a week. That figures because I was just reviewing our energy usage and was happy to see we used 144 fewer kilowatt hours last month than the same period last year. That's about to change!

(¸.•´ (¸.• ♫ ♪ These comics are a real whoot/riot and they certainly make me chuckle. They may not be the smartest gang or make the world a better place, but they are extremely happy with their ordinary lives and that's why I think we find them so darn funny and these comics so entertaining... it's because for the most part, most of us can relate to them and their wacky world.
Drink lots of water or natural fruit juices even if you don't feel very thirsty, wear loose fitting clothing, keep your lights off or turned down, take a cool shower if needed periodically and avoid intense or moderately intense physical activity. This may sound like the perfect date (not so bad to me!) ... I am hoping that this heat wave passes quickly for you.

  6. I'm a member of the Dinette Set, not too PC savvy. It's in the 80's right now. Next week it sounds like Chip's weather is gonna be here...hot, hot , hot.
