Feeling better…

I saw the primary care physician today.  There is a mix-up with some of my new meds which is putting my diastolic  BP reading way to low.  Keeping a close watch on that and I report back to the doctor on that next week.  I had lost 7 lbs. in the 10 days since I last saw her.  Then next appointment is 6 weeks.  A couple of other things that need to be worked out, other than that I feel halfway decent.

My brother is now home from the hospital.  His headache is better and an MRI showed no bleeding in the brain.  He has no short term memory.  I can call him and 5 minutes later he has forgotten that he spoke to me.

It is very cold and windy out this morning.  I went out without my hat and about froze my ears off.  Winter is definitely looming on the horizon.

The picture I have at the top of my post is of my great, great niece sitting in amongst the pumpkins.  Thanks to grandma and grandpa (Mike and Celeste) and of course a big thank you to her mommy (Leslie) for sending me updated pics  every week or so.

  2. I'm so glad things are working out for you with your BP and all went well. Sounds like things are going well, thank goodness!
Your brother's headache being better and getting to go home is just wonderful news! You never know with strokes how the memory or the body will be. And you never know how well things will improve, either. I hope he sees improvement on his short term memory loss. I hope they have him set up with rehab.
