That man Pujols…

This is going to be a gorgeous day, to be in the 70s.  I am restricted from strenuous exercise but I am going to take a short walk this afternoon, carrying my camera and hoping for an opportunity for a pic.  The rain, wind and cold has about taken the color away from the trees but there are a few remaining.  First thing this morning I do have to make a run to Kroger as I am out of one main item that I can’t live without, bananas.

Hey, what about the Cardinals win last night? I stayed up past 10:30 watching and I finally went to bed.  What a game.  http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/10/23/albert-pujols-cardinals-world-series-home-runs_n_1027077.html

Albert Pujols hitting a home run in last night’s game.   Final score, Cardinals 16, Rangers 7.  What a game.  I love baseball!

I hope you are all have a wonderful weekend!  Do stay safe and be happy!

  1. I think I'll head out with the camera too but a little later when the sun isn't as brilliant. Have a fun walk and soak in the smells, the sun and the sounds of a beautiful Fall day. Congratulations to the Cardinals. xoxox

  2. Blessings. Don't know much about sports so i won't comment however on the photo walk i say yes, make sure you take a coat in the event the temperture drops. Its not quite the end of fall yet so perhaps you will get some wonderful shots.

Take care and have a great walk

  3. I'd sure rather see the Cards win than Texas! I was really hoping my Tigers would end up in the Series instead of those Rangers. RATS. Go CARDS!

Hope you see something on your walk. Don't overdo it, though. ;)

  5. Hi Beth. Thank you for stopping by my blog and for the sweet comment!
Congratulations on the game. Please don't tell my sister I said that! I was told I must cheer on Texas!

    Enjoy your walk!

  7. Well my team took a beating today. I hope your health is holding up. Stay away from all white food. Bread rice pasta and potatoes and cheese. Try it for a couple of weeks and see if you feel any better. Thinking of you. Oh if your Grandma was Maloney, then you got some Irish in you somewhere lol :-).

  8. One bright spot in my current medical limbo is my inability to sleep in so I'm awake when the morning sun is at it's best. Venturing out with a couple thousand bucks worth of camera and optics in my hands is still iffy but I am awake!

  9. I was a big baseball fan until our Mariners became the worst team in the league and sold all of their best players. My Jim keeps saying they sell them for money but they have to be losing when instead of 45,000 at a game, they have 25k to 28k. I miss baseball but every year I hope they'll come back. Happy your team is doing well. Fom Bertie

  10. Hope your walk was pleasant and productive and the camera got a workout. Sure pray your feeling better by the day. Now I find it hard to root for the Cardinals after what they did to my team, lol. But they are the national league teams so I guess I can.lol
