Baby it’s wet outside..

and cold too.  Nasty rainy morning.  I braved the pouring down rain to walk the few feet to the laundry room.  I have two loads done.  Next thing on the agenda is a visit to the car dealership as the big part of the taillight on the passenger side of my car is burned out.  When it rains it pours.

I liked the doctor I saw yesterday.  He explained everything to me in a language I could understand.  I am not a candidate for one procedure.  He went on to explain what I need to look forward too in the near future.  I won’t go into that as it is very depressing.  In fact I am putting all thoughts of doctors and meds and all of that stuff in the far corner of my mind until next week.  Nothing but happy thoughts for me.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with happy times and lots of love.  Stay safe!!

prayer

Beth

  1. No rain here yet but it's gloomy as all get out. Sometimes you just have to put worrisome things on the back burner and think only good thoughts. Take care and have a good day!

  2. IT stopped raining for the time being but will re-start any time now. I sneaked out and got the last shopping done.

Yes, put it all out of your mind if you can or to the extreme rear of your mind and enjoy the time coming to the fullest.

Love you bunches, Twin. Always will.

  3. We're having a crazy dark, grey, misty morning with fast moving clouds that allow the sun to play peek a boo. Maybe all the clouds will blow away by afternoon.

Put thoughts away until after the long holiday weekend--yes! Sounds like a nice doctor, though, and that's really something right there. :)

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and good food. So much to be thankful for. Glad I met you this year, lady!! :):)

  9. It's a big 44 degrees right now with fifties for Thanksgiving predicted...I'm well pleased with that. I'm sorry for your bad report with the doctor. Perhaps it will turn out far better than what they said. God bless you my friend.

  13. Icky day down here too, Bethie...the dogs don't even want to go out.

I will pass this on to you: A miracle is just a shift in perception.

So shift away. The more energy you can invest in that sunny side of yours, the more things will improve. Energy investing is a curious thing.

Happy Holiday to you and yours...

  17. I certainly see that I have plenty of reading/catching up to do with you Beth! In the mean time, chin up sweetheart! "...Be strong now, because things will get better. It may be stormy now, but it can't rain forever..." - one of my favorite quotes!
