and it is overcast and 36 degrees. There may be some rain later on today but, hey, that is OK. No freezing rain or snow would suit me fine for the rest of the winter.
I am in the middle of laundry again. the same old story. Brings me back to my same old whine, I wish I still had my washer and dryer. But then, no, I will not whine about that anymore and any one of you feel free to reprimand me if I do. LOL
I am going to make my final grocery store run of 2011 this morning. At least I think it will be my final run as you never really know. Tomorrow is appointment and lab so I probably won’t get a chance to post till later in the day. I will make it though as I only have 2 more days to go in the month of December.
I would like to share another cute picture of my daughter and her cousin. In the back holding on to the wagon is Tim’s dad.
Aren’t they cute? I love that look on Tim’s face. Mike De (Tim’s brother) I hope you are reading this post. Maybe not though as he and his wife left the day after Christmas to spend the winter in Arizona. They won’t be back in Wisconsin till May.
Gotta go check the laundry then it is off to the store. You all stay safe and be happy!!
Beth
My Dr. appt. is today. Have to make one for eye Dr. but not before Feb. I haven't been to the grocery store for over a week and hope to stay away this one too. Don't you just love that winter weather?
ReplyDeleteIt was a bad start to the day here this morning. Freezing rain and some accidents. Glad I didn't have anywhere to go. Only 2 days to go huh! Congrats on sticking with it.
ReplyDeletetake care and have a great day!
Laundry is not my favorite either! I don't mind the washing and drying, it's the folding that gets me. Now that my kids are older, they do all the washing and drying, but I'm still left to fold. I think it's supposed to be nice here today - close to 60. This weather is crazy, back and forth between warm and cold all the time! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThose were the days when a simple wagon was fun. Now everything is so darn complicated, wires, batteries, cords etc sheesh. Bet you'll be glad when the last entry takes place. I don't think I could post everyday anymore..just not doable and nothing to say. WOW..did I say that?? hehhe Love and hugs to you Sis stay safe out there.. : )
ReplyDeleteHope your doc's appointment goes well. A new year is just over the horizon, so brace yourself. It'll pass too--much too quickly, I'm sure. Great fun reading your posts everyday! Good going! Have a good New Year's Day (and Eve, if you can stay awake for it!) and a happy 2012!
ReplyDeleteI can relate about the laundry thing. When my husband and I first got married we had to give up use of the washer and dryer for the Laundromat a few blocks away. There's nothing like walking through snow while pulling a cart full of laundry....maybe that is how I kept my svelt figure all those years because as soon as we moved to our house I piled on the pounds! Hmmmmmm maybe I should look into doing laundry at the laundromat again...I need to lose some weight! ;0)
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Joanne
Good Luck tomorrow Beth hope it goes well for you. Hope you have a good New Year's Eve , and hope that snow keeps away. Blustery day here and driving rain pretty awful. Hugs Sheila and Wile-e xx
ReplyDeleteAbout the same weather here. Good day to stay home. Love the music. Hope your doctor's appointment went well.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and your family! x
ReplyDeleteBe careful...got your back.

December 31 will be the last day in 2011 that I will go to a grocery store. Of course I work there.
ReplyDeletei've been unable to read all my blogs lately. Too much going on. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet picture!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck tomorrow with the final appointment of the year. And congrats on day 29!!
Hope you had a really good day, Beth! :)
I hope your app goes very well. No plans for new year's eve. We usually watch tv.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful children! Have a super nice rest-of-the-year, and a wonderful 2012. bertieblue
ReplyDeleteHey love the music :-) the blog is looking great.
ReplyDeleteLove to see the old photos! Guess we're a bit sentimental. I once upon a time had a washer and drier when our family included 6 kids. Now, I've lived in a small old log cabin and haven't had either since 1997. I take it to the laundromat once a week and then go grocery shopping. It works.
ReplyDeleteHave a really nice day! Be well.
Lovely picture Beth, reminds so much of my own children's photos though they are both girls, but it's the b/white that makes it nostalgic.
ReplyDeleteI hope all goes well at the docs.
And well done for almost completing your task, i'm sure we'll be congratulating you at the end.
The weather here is foul, dank and wet, what I call graveyard weather.
Keep well
Catching up here. I hope your laundromat isn't too far from your apartment.Take care and hoping your Doctor appointment went well.
ReplyDeleteGood photo, cute kids too . I like the black and white photos as well as the black and white movies, takes us back, doesn't it?
