Good morning Monday Tuesday…

and baby it is cold outside!  12 degrees, still windy and sunny.  I have been out and about already, to the pharmacy and to the grocery store.  Warm up due on Thursday to the 50s.  I am liking this winter so far, remembering last winter and the one snow after another thingy.  http://www.sj-r.com/top-stories/x545137894/Unseasonably-mild-winter-to-continue-National-Weather-Service-says

I have been keeping busy cleaning files and drawers and shredding papers.  Next on the agenda will be getting ready for the tax accountant.  I am always glad when I get that done.

I noticed today that the stores are ready for Valentine’s Day.  My favorite holiday since it is the date of my daughter’s birth.

I haven’t settled on the one object that I plan to photograph each month on the same day and at the same hour.  I think it will probably be the big tree close to the cemetery across from me. Maybe Thursday when it has warmed up to the 50s.

I forgot to mention as I do each time that I don’t like Monday holidays.  They mess the whole week up.  Everything is a day late in the week.  That said, You all stay safe and be happy!!

  1. Beth--

I know what you mean...I am totally discombobulated by these darn Monday holidays.

This weather is crazy...it's finally up to 22 at 10 AM...and the wind has died down. But yesterday was like a typhoon!

Sounds like you're being productive--I'm being a slug. lol

  2. My paperwork is now all up-to-date, and I'm seeking new projects. +9° here and VERY windy! Light dusting of snow left from last evening. No sun. I'm looking forward to your photo-a-month posts.

  3. We have predictions running for two days of record breaking highs which I find astounding. It's like ever waiting for that other shoe to fall and it just doesn't do that...at least not yet. The wind has been high for a while with only short reprieves and I don't much like that.

  4. Stopping off to see you today and glad you are busy catching up and getting things done. I am afraid that if I chose one thing to take a picture of these days it would be pretty hard. Good luck with the idea. Take care in this cold weather. : )

  5. I am loving this winter so far - snowfall for our area is way behind, and as far as I'm concerned it can stay that way. Too bad the Badgers didn't win, but guess it wasn't meant to be. Certainly was a tight game tho.

  13. Monday holidays don't mean much to me.It's one of my days off. Your weather seems to be the precurser to mine. 20's this morning, single digits tomorrow then back to 50 on Saturday.

  14. Wow! You've been a busy beaver, as they say. It's always so nice to get things like that done and behind you. :)

I get all thrown off when we don't have mail on Mondays, too. Today has felt like Monday all day--LOL! ;)

I hope you pick your object for the yearly photos. Waiting to see what you choose. :)

  17. Myy blog post has told you what kind of weather we're having in UK Beth., and it won't get warmer till around Easter, if we're lucky.
Since retiring Mondays aren't any different to Thursdays or any other day now, and one of the blessings is to be free of the dreaded tax returns each year. I too look forward to your photos.
