Desperately aggravated…

about what happened to James Denton on the Desperate Housewives episode which aired last Sunday night.  I will confess I am a Desperate Housewives addict and I haven’t missed an episode so far.  This is the 8th and final season.  I am hooked on only one other soap and that is The Young and the Restless.  It just doesn’t seem fair to me that Mike Delfino (James Denton) should have been killed in a drive by shooting in the last show as he was the best looking guy on the show.

It is 39 degrees this morning and the sun is shining brightly, to get up in the mid 70s today on this the 6th day on the countdown to spring.  Now brace yourself (myself) it is to reach 80 degrees tomorrow.

Inquiring minds want to know if Julie Larson is related to Gary Larson.  They are both famous cartoonists.  The answer is no.  Julie Larson is native to Illinois, her childhood home being Lincoln IL which is not far from where I am living now.   Gary Larson is married to an anthropologist and he is quite a bit older than Ms. Larson.

I absolutely have to get off the computer and get busy as I have lots of things I need to get done.

Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  1. Awwwwwwwwwwww, it rots when one has followed a show, and a favorite character is killed off. Grrrrrrrrrrr...

Can you find out, if he left because he wanted to? Like he got a great new acting job? Or what happened?

Betcha' if you Googled a question like "Why was James denton's character of "Mike Delefino" killed off, on "Desperate Housewives"? Betcha' you could find an answer. Or on net places, which discuss "DH." All shows have discussions about them...

It wouldn't make you feel any better. But maybe, if the actor wanted to leave, it would feel a little better? Maybe...

  2. I like that show too and was disappointed in the episode. How dare they. My guess is the actor wanted out and they had to think of a creative way to do it. Going to be 70 here today. Unreal!!

  3. Ya know I thought the same thing.. I thought maybe the guy would come after Renee instead but didn't. Looks like this coming Sunday will be a big show. The bits with Karen and asking Bree to "off" her was a little over the top.. I did thought the Gabby and Carlos part was good though. I knew he was getting killed off when he went to the Cops and they wouldn't do anything. Glad you can watch what you miss on line now and catch up. Nicer weather today than storms yesterday..rest of the week looks like MAY weather. Amazing..hope your day goes well. : ) XXOO

    have a great day Beth.

  7. I love Mike and wanted him and Susan to ride off into the sunset together since this is the last season. I'm heartbroken over this. I hate that it won't be on anymore the most!

  8. 80 degrees?!? You are very fortunate indeed! We will be later than most for such temperatures I think though you never know, it's been a strangely warm winter and early spring this far. I've been hooked on two series right now: "Walking Dead" and "Awake". They are more thriller based and I'm glad for them since I haven't really found a series that's grabbed me in a while.

  9. They kill of most of the men in Desperate Housewives or make them villains. I wonder if there will be any good and alive men left by the end of the show. Carlos is the only "good" one left, I guess, and Gabby wants to kill him right now--LOL!

Enjoy the heat! We've even been in the 50s and 60s! :)
