This is shirtsleeves and..

shorts weather.  It is just like early summer outside.  It is so gorgeous, the forsythia, tulip trees, daffodils are all in bloom.  The trees are all budded out. The sun is shining so brightly and felt so warm on my arms.  I am in awe of such a beautiful day on this the 4th day on the countdown to spring.

I am home from the doctor.  My daughter and I ate at Wild Berries in Peoria for breakfast.  I never saw such gigantic portions. We each had two boxes of food to bring home.  Very nice, I would like to eat there again.

I am really pooped though as I had to get up at 6 this morning and I am not used to the new time yet.  I think I might take a little nap this afternoon.  Yesterday in addition to cleaning a closet I washed out the windowsills and the inside of the windows.

I hope you all have a great weekend.  Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  3. Isn't it beautiful? I thought for sure you would have written of the governor on his way to the pen for at least 11 years and 8 months they said. People were actually getting autographs from him and looked sad (?) Enjoy your day!!

Great to hear news of summer like weather. It has been sunny here today too, but not that warm yet.

  6. It was 82 here and broke a record, with severe thunderstorms in the area.

I am headed out across the mountains. I'll be thinking of you.

  7. The weather really is nice though not the eighties for us and I see some cooler weather in the forecast...I hope it modifies. I've done pretty well with time shift this year but I've had my nose in "The Hunger Games" trilogy and that's taken a toll on my sleep but thankfully I finished the last book today. Bless you my friend.

  9. Beth as I mentioned yesterday you have started me on a closet cleaning and purging binge. I have just finished tonight session. The junk is in the hall ready for disposal tomorrow. Your warm weather is making it's way up here and will arrive on Saturday. It won't hit the 80's but that's okay. WAIT! As I write this the weather forecast was just on tv. I t WILL be 80 on Wednesday! I just traveled to Martha's Vineyard in my mind.

  11. Glad to hear That you are getting great weather! So are you maybe thinking about a tiny garden again? I remember last year you had such a great time with your tomato plants! I can't wait to start planting. Every time we "Spring forward" I feel so tired! It takes me forever to get used to it.
