One down…

and three to go.  I saw a different doctor this morning, a gastroenterologist.  Next week it will be an appointment with the ophthalmologist on Monday and then tests on Tuesday and Wednesday.  And I hope that is it for awhile.

My doctor appointment today was a different experience.  they asked to see my driver license and then they took a picture of me. First time for everything I guess.

I was able to take some pictures of downtown Peoria.

I have a fond memory of Peoria.  My daddy brought me in his truck to downtown Peoria to shop for my wedding dress.  It was a 2 piece white knit sweater dress.  I still have it somewhere.  I still remember my dad patiently waiting in his truck while I shopped for a wedding dress.

I am on my way to visit you all.  Do stay safe and be happy!!

  1. Having to show your drivers license and getting your picture takes sure was different. Never heard of that before.
Nice memory of you and your dad.
Me and my dad went all over together in his truck. : )

  5. We haven't started taking pictures of people where I work....but, when you're a new parent, you do have to show your driver's license and they do make a copy of it so that when you leave with the baby, they have proof of who took it out of the hospital. I imagine if taking pictures and copying drivers licenses is happening there, it will probably be at all hospitals soon since the government wants all records on line and accessible to other hospitals.
