For Linda
Hi Linda, I hope you are reading this. Yesterday on my post you asked where I got this quote. I found it on a free image site, I don’t remember which one. I am so sorry for the loss of your son. If you want to save this to your computer, please right click on it.

I am home now from garage sales, and Schnucks where I purchased some tomatoes and peaches that were promised to be fresh. We shall see. Not many garage sales today as even though it is overcast and a bit cooler I think not many were scheduled. I found a nice bit of shelving that will fit in my utility room where space is at a premium.
Then a stop at KFC and I am home for the day. I missed Y&R but it is recorded on the DVR so I will catch it later.
I treated myself to a special purchase this week. It was John Sandford’s Stolen Prey. It was rather pricey on sale at $20.96 but I figure I am worth it. I am spacing myself reading it to make it last longer. Sandford is my favorite author. When I am finished reading it I will just turn it over and leave it on the end table as that guy is pretty darn good looking. lol To load it on my Nook it would have been $14.99.
I hope you all have a great weekend. Stay safe and be happy!!
Beth

ReplyDeleteLucky me! A SC friend shares all of her books with me and I have read all of his to date. Good reads.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy your new book. You are right -- you DO deserve it! I haven't ever read any books by that author so I will look for some now (at thrift stores and yard sales -- where I get almost all of my books). Glad you found some shelving you can use. Wow, you mentioned shopping at Schnucks...that brings back lots of memories from when we lived in the the Belleville area (near St. Louis) and we went grocery shopping at Schnucks every Friday night for years. Hope you have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteI know the Belleville area. My youngest brother is retired from the Air force. He and his wife live near Belleville now.

Oh M loves John Sanford. She's read every book he's ever published. Too bad we didn't know you last year, M could have boxed up about 5 of them to send to you. She has since donated them back to the library for their used book sale in the fall.
ReplyDeleteOh, tell mom that would have been nice!!
