Here I am again…

I know I said I wouldn’t but here I am again complaining  no, just commenting, that yesterday’s actual temperature of 104 degrees is getting to be a little bit too much.  Everything is so dry and brown here except my front yard which maintenance is keeping watered.  I think that is one reason I feel out of sorts.  The heat is wearing me out and giving me cabin fever.

My daughter is coming over today and is going to help me clean out the big closets in my bedrooms.  I am planning on sending a lot more stuff to Goodwill.  But first I have to go and find me some breakfast.

Breakfast finished.  Low sodium, low fat, no sugar cereal with a banana.  It just doesn’t get any better than that.  NOT!

*****

Closets cleaned and 5 garbage bags full of clothes, some electrical appliances, shoes and books all delivered to Goodwill.  I barebones cleaned out the clothing.  If I haven’t worn it in the last 2 years it went.  Enough for a really good garage sale.

I fixed a bacon tomato sandwich for lunch.  The tomato wasn’t bad but still not tasting like the real thing even though they were from local producers.  The local peaches though were really delicious.

I have a ton of papers to shred from 2 files I found in one of the closets.

I will be by to visit you all later.

Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  4. There's nothing better than cleaning:) You never have to leave the house for that one:) I know....the heat is difficult. During the summer, Tucson can be a bit crazy, but surprisingly we're not as hot as you all are. Stay cool and focus on that garage sale:) I think I'm going to read to day before vacation is over....and then I won't have time.

  5. Hi Beth,

It is hot hot hot here today, not 104f about 88f I think and that is quite hot enough for me. It is such a dramatic change, but I am not complaining, "just saying". Had a pleasant day in the water park with Callum and Zac tried to keep telling them to put on more sun lotion, but didn't have too much success and now Zac is very sore especially around the shoulders, guess we have to learn by our mistakes. We found a park bench under a tree in the shade so didn't get too burnt, or hot and bothered.

Take Care and stay as cool as possible.

    Hugs Nita

  18. Wow, sounds like a busy day. You have inspired me to get some more things out of my closet. So far I have filled three large garbage bags too and could easiy do more! Your breakfast sounds about like mine...fruit and oatmeal or plain cherrios or bran cereal. I used to eat bacon and sausage or hashbrowns every day...no more. Enjoy your evening and I will check in with you tomorrow!

  23. You are soooo good giving so much stuff away, and only two years old! it#s got to be at least 5 yrs before i even consider it, LOL so you can imagine the amount of clothes I've accumulated, but I've done a deal with myself and will not buy anything new till after my birthday, only 3 weeks, will I stick to it? wait and see.
