To answer a lot of questions from family and friends; no, I don’t mind living by a cemetery at all.

When they lay me to rest
Oh, I ain't afraid of dying
Lord, it's the living that scares me to death.”

Thoughts and prayers will go with you to the hospital Beth. Hugs. Oh, we have friends that have a cemetery for backyard neighbors - it's great. Nice and quiet there, grass is kept well groomed, actually perfect neighbors.
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well with the test tomorrow. Just sent a prayer up for you.

ReplyDeleteHello Beth, I wouldn't mind living next to a cemetery - you've got it right - it is the living - those living we need to be more concerned about.

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and I look forward to following your blog. Hopefully the test is just a safety check to be sure. My other half works in the health field and will have to retake x-rays etc because something didn't turn out. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI actually find cemeteries to be very peaceful. It can be a good place to also remind us of our mortality. I will go at pretty much any time of year to just walk around and look at all those who have come before me and wonder what their lives were like. Who they loved, what hardships they had to endure. I also look at the ages and wonder why some died so young or that someone had lived a full life. We're not all so different in life and in death but at times we can seem to be worlds apart.
ReplyDeleteI feel pretty much the same way!
