Gully Washer Day…

It has gully washed all morning.  The rain has poured down in torrents along with hail and a lot of lightning.  My daughter and I were caught out in it.  It is to do this all day with a strong front set to go through this afternoon.

Our television is going wild.  Their were shots fired at Normal IL this morning and 2 students were arrested.

Students in custody after shots fired at NCHS; everyone safe  http://www.pantagraph.com/

I am not feeling well this morning so this is a short post.  I hope you all have a great weekend.  Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

What is the world is it with these people and guns? Glad no one was hurt.

  10. Wish we could have some of your rain. in a couple more days we will break all records for the most days in recorded history of no measurable rainfall. We had the best summer ever weatherwise, cool and comfy while you all were too hot. Now you are cooling off and we are having hot days. Crazy.
    Feel better soon, Beth. BGB

  13. Bundle up and feel better. Don't think about that crazy world stuff.....there's too much else to make you think. Sometimes the best remedy is to turn off the news. It's been stormy here all day as well. Stay dry.

  15. How scary about the gun shots!

I hope you are feeling better by this time in the day. I'm late checking in today. It has been busy, and will just get busier, I do believe.:)

Our high temperatures today were into the low-nineties! No rain, but there is a chance in the forecast.

    Enjoy the week-end!

    xo Nellie
