to Paul, one of my first blogging friends from Windows Live Spaces! I always remember December 2nd as Paul’s birthday because it is also my wedding anniversary! If you have a minute stop by and wish Paul a happy birthday while he is still young enough to read.

It is a warm drizzly day in central Illinois. The temp is 53 and to get up around 70 today. Very unusual weather for us but I will take it.
My daughter and son in law are stopping by after lunch for homemade potato soup. I have been hungry for some of that.
I am gearing up for a visit to my kidney/bp doctor on Wednesday. I have a whole list of things to tell him. I am still wearing the heart monitor, less than 2 weeks left on that.
I have been invited to a cookie exchange on the 13th. Thank you to Liz.
I hope you all are have a wonderful day!
Beth

ReplyDeleteWishing you good results from all the medical visits and tests. I guess we should enjoy global warming before it gets lethal, but it is hard to think Christmas when it is so warm and raining all the time. Wishing you good health and happiness. BGB
ReplyDeleteHi Beth, Sad that your husband passed away one day before your anniversary.
ReplyDeleteI love potato soup - mama always put dumplings in hers. I often wish I had a big pot of hers!
I am praying for your upcoming appts. Please keep us updated as you feel up to it.
We are having a sunny, warm day - currently 75* - but a neighbor is burning leaves, so I had to close the windows. My cats are mad about that. They were enjoying the warm sunshine.
Have a good evening. Mildred
Nearly sixty for us for the next couple days, I don't know what to make of it. Bless you my friend, memories are precious.
ReplyDeleteOh, yum! I love potato soup! It's warm here, too. Very unseasonal for December 2! Thinking of you, Beth! Take care.
