A new day dawning…

I have always loved that phrase.  There is a beautiful song with that name sung by many artists.

“Thank you, Lord, for a new day dawning

Over our mountains and valleys of green,

Thank you, Lord, for a new day dawning

And shining Your light from above”

CELTIC THUNDER - NEW DAY DAWNING LYRICS

Our new day dawning here is drizzly and cloudy.  The temp is 64 degrees and  not to be nearly so warm here today.

I have my plans all made to make the trip home on Friday to put flowers on Jim’s grave.  My daughter will go with me.  I will try and stop by to say hi to my old friends.

new day dawning

Have a great day.  Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  10. Hi Beth. I've been away from regular blogging and commenting for a LONG time....mostly because of our recent move. We downsized from a too-big house, to a just-right townhouse...just six miles away!! We really like our area! :)
Our weather really has been annoying, hasn't it? Normally, I would say "awful," but can't possibly use that word after seeing the destruction in Moore, OK. I hope you have a good trip with your daughter....I'll be thinking of you.

  16. Hi Beth. Yup I'm still here. These are indeed sad times. The tornado makes you realize how small we are compared to nature. Sad times indeed.
Have a safe trip my friend.

ps Only a week and a half to the Vineyard. Boy do I need this!

  17. Hi Beth....stilling raining? UGH! It was a bit gloomy here too. That phrase "A new day dawning… " fills me with hope. I also love that quote at the top of your blog...Who wrote it? It's beautiful.

  18. We've had cool, dark, drizzly days for some time up here, too. Better than sweltering hot, I guess. ;) Enjoy your visits.
